After finally finding a picture of a hair cut I liked, I booked with what I thought was an excellent salon. I showed the hairdresser the picture of the hair cut that I liked, was quoted a price and went a head. My hair has been shoulder length for years.
The hair dresser said to close my eyes to cut the layered fringe, when I opened my eyes I had a short fringe instead of a layered curtain fringe. I said that is not what I asked for and the reply was this will suit you better. I got her to take a picture while still in the salon. All my friends say this is a bad hair cut, so upset.

I love going to Toni and Guy Sydney Park St. I’m an infrequent customer....maybe twice a year...yet the team treats me beautifully every time and makes me feel valued. Anthony is a master with colour and cutting...I really love the tones he uses in my hair and always get lots of compliments on how it looks.
I really recommend this salon.

The service is fantastic and the staff is very experienced and friendly. Highly recommend Ruby and Emily. The salon is on the upper level and has a good view of Hyde Park. It is clean and tidy and has a simple layout. However, it is quite an expensive experience (although normal for this salon and experienced staff).

Since changing hairdresser salon in early 2018 and choosing Anthony (after interrogating him about his experience and qualifications) to cut, style and colour my hair, I can honesty say that my hair has never looked better and I’m really happy to have found a hairdresser I love in a world renowned salon!

The results speak for themselves and the confidence in my hairstyle and appearance is like a superstar walking the red carpet in a Hollywood Premiere or Oscars night (without the updo style).

Anthony is the only hairdresser I can truely trust where if he recommends a product or treatment for my hair, I know that he’s trustworthy especially as he has used the product on his own hair too & I’m happy with the results of his recommendations, the colour, and recreating the 90’s hair style that I love - he’s an expert in hair!! ????????

Thank you Anthony and to your team for bringing my hair back to the high standard I love and this same high standard that I’ve missed for too long!

Ruby is the best stylist I’ve ever had! She knows what suits her client best. Furthermore, she did not put me in the “haircuts to suit middle age women” bracket, but gave me a young style that looks amazing.

My appointment was an absolute dream. I went in for a complete makeover and that’s what they delivered. Everyone was friendly and communicative and gave their honest advice based on knowledge and experience. I was helped so well and the result is amazing. I have never been this happy after a haircut. I feel like a new person.

Ruby is an absolute maestro! I have been seeing her for a couple of years now and her cutting skills are phenomenal. She is always on top of the latest styles and is amazing and innovative. I would follow her to the moon and back!!! If the salon and the vibrating reclining washbasin chairs I would give it a 10/10. Ruby definitely gets 100/10!

If you like brassy orange hair and wasting 4-5 hours of your time... go for it. Oh to top it it cost me $400.

She was extremely professional, knowledgeable and understanding of my hair type and issues. Based on this experience alone, I will be coming back as a regular customer. Thank you Ruby!

I love my new haircut. It sits so well and it is only day one.

Extremely unwelcoming and rude service throughout my hair styling. Plus kept scraping my scalp with the hair pins. My head still hurts. I was told the style for short hair would be about $50 and got charged $100. I felt like I was an inconvenience from the start and when I paid and left, there was no thank you or good bye. Awful. I won’t be returning nor recommending to anyone

The staff are all friendly and great to have a chat with while getting your hair done. They are fantastic at colour. I have always left satisfied and happy with my new hair style.

I do think that 40% increase in prices over approximately a 3 year period is unjustifiable. If your rationale for pricing is to model Sydney House prices perhaps its time for a correction / reduction. $135 for a mans haircut is not in my option easily justified

I've been going to Tony and Guy for a couple of years now and normally I am thrilled with the results, but sadly not this time. I was getting my colour redone and a cut and blowdry - the booking was made incorrectly and I was only booked for a colour - no one offered an apology or investigated as to why this had happened or offered an explanation. I booked with a different colorist as my usual guy was fully booked (Anthony- he is fantatsic) For all the colour turned out good the service was not up to scratch- no conversation and just very flat and not very personable.
Towards the end of the colour, the person colouring my hair had a cancellation so she could give me a cut and blowdry - I was a bit apprehensive and should have said no but I went with it. There was no consult as to how I would like my hair blowdried or consult with my usual stylist as to how it's normally cut - it was dried bone straight with no volume or texture to it and the cut was barely 10minutes ($107 later) I could have done it myself in all fairness. Normally after spending nearly $400 at the hairdressers you want to feel like it was worth it, not that you want to run home and style it yourself. Only saving grace is that the colour turned out good.
