One of the founding TONI&GUY salons in Victoria, Brighton burst onto the hairdressing scene in May 2004. After an extremely successful run from 2009, where Brighton was consistently one of the top performing salons nationally, it has now become the new project for Stuart Freeman, who took the ownership from 2017.
Since 2013, we have provided wig trims, fittings and advice to patients of Cabrini Hospital. Our weekly commitment has allowed not only patients of Cabrini, but any resident in the Bayside catchment area to access professional advice and care at no cost.
Annually, we sponsor every local school through their fund-raisers and participate in their offshoot charities.
Tell us about your team?
Our salon family is led by Stuart, who also leads our styling team, which consists of Emma, Paul, Een, Peggy and Luc. Nichola and Evarna head up our colour team. Always on the floor are our amazing assistants Chanel, Kelly & Tanya, and Flick covers the reception area. Our team specialise in either colour or styling so that our clients have the opportunity to have the best of both worlds in the one visit. This also creates a team-based atmosphere, as we consult each client together.
Our team is diverse, and this is reflective of their time in the company. Many of our staff have been leading educators over the years and have many awards and accolades to their names. We believe in education and the philosophy behind TONI&GUY, we love to learn and to teach others and place a great deal of emphasis on continual education from our apprentices through to our seniors.

We maintain a green policy and keep to a stringent recycling regime so that waste is minimal. We encourage our clients who have re-styles to send their ponytails to ‘Variety Children’s Charity’ and use REFOIL recycled aluminium foil in the salon. We keep paper usage to a minimum and we aim to be paperless within the year.
We’re a 5-star accredited Gold Salon Select member through the Australian Hairdressing Council, and we offer a 5-star service for each and every visit!
