Terrible Haircut and Colour
I was excited to get my balayage and my haircut updated given due to work and travel I hadn't been to the hairdresser in some time. I had an initial review of my hair and explained what I wanted prior to my appointment.
I was not consulted about the colour blond I wanted the balayage to be and despite showing pictures of dark blond, that was not what I got. During the colour, my colourist left me to attend to other customers 5 times!!! this is whilst she was actually putting colour on my head. I ended up with cold peroxide blonde ends to go wth my warm naturally light brown roots. Not the look I was after.
Then for the cut I got some Spanish guy who despite seeing the fact that I have fine, curly hair decided to chop into my hair giving me loads of layers after I asked for a blunt cut. I left looking like a 50 yr old with a bowling ball on her head after he curled and then actually teased my hair WTF?
There is one receptionist there who swans around like she's on a catwalk making bitchy comments about people and laughing, not a nice friendly atmosphere at all. I exchanged knowing looks with another customer whilst she was doing this, it really created a nasty feeling, like the staff aren't really invested in making you feel your best.
I have had my hair done in international cities and they are far more welcoming and friendly because they realise that being bitchy and isolating your paying customer is not good for business.
Actually look and listen to what your customer wants, give it to them and it will be a salon worth visiting.
After I told my friends of my experience they all said they had or heard similar reviews - not worth it for the price.
I have since then had to have all of my hair cut off and into a super short bob to get rid of all the damage and layers within 2 weeks of visiting MM.
