Lovely lady & excellent hairdresser! Relaxing pleasant environment.

Yet again Jake makes my hair look great. Always a lovely service at House of hair Bedford, staff always very friendly and welcoming and nothing seems too much trouble.

Urgent need to wash my hair after surgery, fitted me in promptly and competently done, as usual!

What an absolute dream Libby is. She listened to what I wanted to achieve and told me realistically what we could achieve without ruining my hair. Being a previous box dyer (eeek) she explained everything in detail on what she was doing and how we were going to get to my end goal. She was so friendly and attentive. She is also passionate and knowledgable about her work and that shows up in the final product. I have never had this much confidence in a stylist!! On top of this my hair turned out incredible, she had her work cut out as my hair was orange from the box dye but she made it look amazing. Thanks so much Libby!!!!

So grateful to Libby for taking the time to explain and advise me on how the achieve the colour and look I wanted. Choosing a new hair stylist is always tricky, but from the moment Jake discussed styling, I felt I’d made the right decision. Seeing his cutting skills confirmed that initial confidence. Having grown my hair after years of short pixie cuts into a bob, I missed that style sharpness and wanted something different. The finished result was a perky shaped ear length bob, slight graduation at the back with a fab curved fringe. I love it! Looked blooming’ glossy too. More importantly, having washed and styled it myself, and I’m not great with hair faffing, I’m a happy client. Thank you.

I had my hair done on Tuesday. Very disappointed. I went in and asked for my ends to me cut because I’ve been trying to grow my hair out. He cut off 3 inches of my hair.. it’s now in a bob.. I wanted a dark chocolate brown and i left the salon with a black bob. He left my dye on for 15 minutes extra totalling in 50 minutes. My hair is dry and in bad condition now. I left the salon with black dye stained all round my face and neck. I went to my car and cried for 45 minutes. Won’t be returning.

Jake was very good with my 4 year old, it was her 1st hair cut and he took the time to interact with her and gave her a great 1st hair cut.

The lovely Sam did my root touch up and blowdry today!! He did an amazing job, I mentioned to him at the beginning how I wanted more volume in my hair, he listened and gave me an amazing bouncy volume blowdry!! He also did my colour which was perfect!! Shiny and no more gray hairs!! Thanks again.

Jake is a fantastic hairdresser. I love my blonde highlights, and the extensions he has fitted are seamless! He always works so hard to make sure you're happy with your hair.
