I've had my hair cut a couple of times by Marcella now, and I really recommend. As somebody who gets alot of anxiety around hair dressers and hair cuts, she was kind and understanding, listened to me (rather than just doing what she thought best!) and checked in whilst doing the cut to make sure what she was doing was OK.
Lovely and friendly and a great cut too. Really do recommend, especially for those who may be a bit more nervous and/or neurodiverse.

I am quite hard to please and walk out of a salon never really liking my cut and finish immediately but with Marcella this has never been the case and I have loved my hair at the end of each visit.

Mark and I joined Hitchin Champneys in March as part of my recovery plan. I had been ill for a year and hadn’t been near a hairdressers. We booked appointments with Marcella. We are so, so pleased we did!
I had hi lights and a cut yesterday and I couldn’t ask for better service. Marcella was attentive, gave valuable advice and was very professional throughout my time in the salon. I have very fine hair which isn’t the easiest to style but Marcella worked magic. The colour is great and the cut is wonderful. Thank you.

I really like House of Hair. It’s a little haven where you can feel pampered. It’s a lovely space and the stylists are friendly but recognise when you need quiet time. They also listen to you. I’ve had a cut/colour there a few times and am very pleased with the results. Thanks ladies.

Fitted me in at short notice. Really listened to everything I said and then gave me a fabulous cut! Also gave me some really good advice about colour and upkeep. I wouldn’t hesitate to return, though you are a bit far away for me to be a regular but I think it would be worth it!

Excellent hairdresser and such a treat. Service is brilliant and set in the spa feels like an exclusive salon and experience to come. Marcella is a brilliant hairdresser and always very friendly.

I wanted to treat myself to a wash & blow dry at the end of my spa day. Marcella was great - very welcoming and friendly. I went home feeling relaxed and with lovely hair!
