Excellent care taken over getting the right colour/tone. Offered to redo part of the colour I didn’t think suited me for no extra charge.

Thank you Karla for redoing my colour brilliantly. The red is really vibrant and the extra bits you suggested look really effective. As usual it was a great experience. It never feels rushed and I think they are coping well with the extra safety precautions.

Karla is so lovely. Even with the covid safety measures in place, it was an enjoyable experience and I’m really happy with my new hair colour. All of the team are friendly and it is a very welcoming salon.

... have finally gone thanks to Dan. I was a bit apprehensive about what It would be like with all the additional safety measures in place but I needn’t have worried. As for my hair, well, as always it looks amazing (thank you Dan). If you haven’t already - get booking, it so lifts your spirits!

Well what can I say, I did feel a little bit nervous this morning when I woke up but after arriving to have my hair coloured and cut this afternoon I felt extremely safe and relaxed. All precautions are being taken and I had a couple of relaxing hours with Debbie doing a fantastic job on my hair as she always does. Thank you Debbie and to all staff for making me feel comfortable.

Great service and atmosphere, friendly cheerful service

Dan cuts our whole family’s hair and is able to adapt to all the different hair types and requirements. He always advises honestly and the cut always lasts immaculately

Lisa kindly undid a bad haircut I’d had somewhere else! She also helped me finally get a hairstyle that I really liked - not an easy task with my untameable mane!

Had my hair done. Top money but very dated salon, bad haircut and finish.

I had a salt and pepper colour before I went in. Dan was great in working out the right colour - it took a while to get there but we did in the end - lovely ash blonde with a hint of sunshine!

Knew what I wanted and then gently suggested what would work!

Brilliant. Karla was really friendly and did a brilliant cut. I was met with a cup of tea and everyone was very welcoming.

Thick curly frizzy hair below shoilder un desperate need of attention. Im now sporting a deco structed edgy bob below chin. My hair and i are very happy. Sophie read the situation in an instant.

Enjoyable visit as ever

I have been having my ( curly) hair cut by Julian for the last 20 + years. This is the best hairdressers in Newbury -a 5* experience on all fronts.

Welcoming and friendly, attentive of my needs such as temperature of water, beverages, listened to what I wanted to achieve with my hair and carried it out well checking with me as she went that I was happy. Good value for money and lovely atmosphere in the salon.

I went in looking like someone from the hair bear bunch and same out with a great cut and my hair is in such better condition

Just returned from an afternoon of indulgence, had my hair coloured, cut and styled by Lisa, it has never looked so good, I have had lots of compliments already, thank you Lisa consistently great !

Over the last 4 years, Lucy has been doing my highlights and cuts for me and I couldn’t be happier with the results. Her can do attitude and service with a smile make every appointment enjoyable and I can rely on her to get my hair just how I want it. Thanks Lucy! X

Dan has been my stylist for years and I absolutely rate him. He always does a great job, gives great advice and we always have a great chat. Overall, the staff at Julians are excellent and it always feels like a treat.
