Best stylist ever

As a retired hairdresser for many tears in another country, I'm not easily impressed..
However, my experience at the salon with Lauren as my appointed stylist, meeting the owner and the general attitude of All staff, the warm welcoming friendly atmosphere coupled with outstanding professionalism..Has been a perfect experience for me..Lauren, personally is a brilliant stylist..an interesting attentive very good hairdresser.. I feel privileged to be a client if hers.. Many Thanks

When I arrived Jess was poorly and had to go but the team rallied round and the manager cut my hair. No delay, no inconvenience, a great cut. Been coming here for many years and the experience is always great ?

Lauren really listened to my thoughts re the colours for my highlights & explained to me what she thought would work & why, she was right & I am delighted with the end result. Lauren also cut & styled my hair, as always she did a fabulous job.

A fresh cut and colour with the team always leaves me feeling amazing. Lauren as ever was bright and funny and the styling was amazing. She listens and takes on board requests and gives an honest assessment of what’s realistic. She’s always so personable too and such a laugh. Love coming to Hobs and no chance of letting her go!!!

Laverne was amazing put me at ease and helped with a style to go for as was s total change for me. Very chatty and professional.

I was made to feel welcome by the girls and Charlotte is really lovely.. Re.colour I asked for natural honey tones but the result is extremely blond, almost white (‘!) on the front / top which looks very ageing. It could have been blended a bit better as there are some thick stripes of white blond. Charlotte did Offer to put darker ones in if I came back next week. For £120 I would have expected it to have been blow dried but instead I dried it myself. If the colour was great I would book again In sept but I’m not convinced.

I felt Rather stressed by the time I left the salon as they were running 40 minutes late. There was no hot water and Poor Lauren Was trying to help the girl who was washing my hair by trying to provide jugs of warm water, I wasn’t able to have a head massage due to the water shortage and problems so I didn’t enjoy my visit, there wasn’t even a manager present that I could discuss this with. Equally I was very disappointed because I had booked my hair appointment in December and when the lockdown ended i was not contacted and offered a new appointment .

She was great and did a good job with providing suggestions for hair colour. But unfortunately quite few grey hair were left uncoloured. They did fit me in for a correction appointment free of charge but because of this touch up 2nd time my freshly done highlights were ruined. Was not very happy or satisfied because of this.

Debbie, is a great stylist as well as colour technician. Having not had my hair cut since last November until yesterday, my hair still fell into position and looked good.

From the moment you arrive at Hob Salon Amersham you feel comfortable. The girls are welcoming and make you feel at ease. Lauren is a fantastic stylist who colours and cuts my hair beautifully. Highly recommend??

Tiffany is always so nice and goes the extra mile. The other staff are lovely too and always make me feel comfortable.

Thank you Charlotte, Lauren & Jess for staying open very late last night before the new restrictions came into place. What a fantastic salon and a truly amazing team. You should be very proud of such lovely kind, loyal and hardworking staff.

I had my haircut yesterday with a new stylist.
I’m really unhappy.
I asked for a blunt cut and got layers.
Even worse the layers are uneven around my face. If it wasn’t for Charlotte and her amazing colour skills I would be taking my business elsewhere
