A fresh cut and colour with the team always leaves me feeling amazing. Lauren as ever was bright and funny and the styling was amazing. She listens and takes on board requests and gives an honest assessment of what’s realistic. She’s always so personable too and such a laugh. Love coming to Hobs and no chance of letting her go!!!

Beautiful cut and blow dry for my daughter. Jess did a great job and made my daughter feel very special. She is delighted with her new hair cut.

I’m always nothing but impressed with Tiffany. Her knowledge on colour is fantastic and she is always so professional. I also had Laverne cut my hair who was fantastic! Again very knowledgable on the latest style (which I definitely am not!) and very friendly. An excellent service- thank you’

Laverne was amazing put me at ease and helped with a style to go for as was s total change for me. Very chatty and professional.

I was made to feel welcome by the girls and Charlotte is really lovely.. Re.colour I asked for natural honey tones but the result is extremely blond, almost white (‘!) on the front / top which looks very ageing. It could have been blended a bit better as there are some thick stripes of white blond. Charlotte did Offer to put darker ones in if I came back next week. For £120 I would have expected it to have been blow dried but instead I dried it myself. If the colour was great I would book again In sept but I’m not convinced.

I felt Rather stressed by the time I left the salon as they were running 40 minutes late. There was no hot water and Poor Lauren Was trying to help the girl who was washing my hair by trying to provide jugs of warm water, I wasn’t able to have a head massage due to the water shortage and problems so I didn’t enjoy my visit, there wasn’t even a manager present that I could discuss this with. Equally I was very disappointed because I had booked my hair appointment in December and when the lockdown ended i was not contacted and offered a new appointment .

She was great and did a good job with providing suggestions for hair colour. But unfortunately quite few grey hair were left uncoloured. They did fit me in for a correction appointment free of charge but because of this touch up 2nd time my freshly done highlights were ruined. Was not very happy or satisfied because of this.

Debbie, is a great stylist as well as colour technician. Having not had my hair cut since last November until yesterday, my hair still fell into position and looked good.

From the moment you arrive at Hob Salon Amersham you feel comfortable. The girls are welcoming and make you feel at ease. Lauren is a fantastic stylist who colours and cuts my hair beautifully. Highly recommend??

So pleased to be back in the chair at Hob with Lauren. Went in looking like a scarecrow, came out with shiny, sleek hair!

Tiffany is always so nice and goes the extra mile. The other staff are lovely too and always make me feel comfortable.

I had my haircut yesterday with a new stylist.
I’m really unhappy.
I asked for a blunt cut and got layers.
Even worse the layers are uneven around my face. If it wasn’t for Charlotte and her amazing colour skills I would be taking my business elsewhere

As always, so happy with my colour and cut - just in time for Christmas! Plus All the safety precautions for Covid were very reassuring.

Always a good cut and finish happy everytime

The service from Debbie was excellent and I was very pleased with my cut. However, the girl who washed my hair was slapdash, resulting in her first freezing then scalding my scalp and then returning me to the chair with soaking wet hair dripping all over my clothes.

Lauren has been cutting my hair for years, I’ve never had a disappointing experience and value her personal attention to clients.

Really nice to be able to return after many months and see Tiffany who was very welcoming to me. It was good that she wore a mask and goggles and this was reassuring in the current climate. Had a skin test done a
few days earlier and Tiffany did an excellent dye for me as usual. Nice touch with the app for magazines but I do miss a cup of coffee! The only negative was that the electric hand drier in the toilet was faulty and I had to resort to using toilet paper which isn’t good enough in terms of infection control. Otherwise all was good.

Laverne cut my hair and I went for a drastic chop after growing my hair so long! She was lovely and done a lovely job! She also suggested about donating the hair to little princess trust which was a lovely idea!

Great cut and blow dry with Jess. It was the first time she had done my hair. Despite it being such a busy day before lockdown she took time and care to get to know me and what I wanted.
