I have just got back from the salon and I am so pleased with my hair. Amelia has done a fantastic job of the colour and the cut is perfect. Dawn who washed my hair and provided me with a delicious hot chocolate made me feel very relaxed and I throughly enjoyed my visit. Thankyou Destiny!!!

Went here again after 3 years & as always...friendly service where the hairdresser explains & sits down with you to discuss what colours (as i am clueless) & constant reasurence about what they are doing, & step by step to make my mind at ease. Great result as before too. Also very relaxing while chatting to hairdresser & also fell asleep . Would reccommend

My hair had been ruined by a high street hairdresser, wrong cut & wrong colour. So I was recommend this salon and I’m so very pleased that I went..3 hours and 45 minute appointment and my hair has been transformed..thank to Step who coloured my hair and the lovely young lady with three dogs for my fab cut..going back in 8 weeks time for my T section..thank you so much fora fab job..

Came into the salon due to having shocking hair colour, it was a mix of red brown and dark blonde. I had the permanent and glossing treatment. My stylist was so helpful and explained every step in detail. very happy with my new hair and very happy with the service i was given. would highly recommend this beautiful salon!

Had my haircut at the salon today by Lorrie. Was brilliant. Got exactly what I asked for plus loads of advice on my colour. Head massage after my wash and was also offered a complimentary hand massage whilst having my hair cut. Couldn't recommend the salon enough!!

Natalie has been doing my hair for years now & tbh she’s fab.. She’s professional, great to bounce ideas off & an all round friendly person. I cannot fault her or the salon.

It’s always a wonderful experience coming to Destiny. They make you feel so welcome, they always have a little chat before your appointment to check what they’re going to do, check the colour, style & cut etc. The atmosphere is very relaxing and this time it was particularly busy but the only way you knew this was because there were lots of people in. The staff are so relaxed themselves.

I had not previously been to Destiny however my usual hairdresser was fully booked and, having read good reviews, I decided to give it a try and am so glad that I did! I had booked in for a bouncy Blowdry with Hana; as soon as I arrived Hana came and spoke to me; asked me what I was looking for as well as asking questions about my hair which instantly put me at ease as I felt confident in her abilities. Being a working mum of twins; the 5 minutes having my hair shampooed whilst enjoying the massage chair was very relaxing. Hana then styled my hair whilst patiently answering all my questions as to how I could get my stubbornly straight hair to curl at home. Hana, in the midst of experiencing said stubbornness, was not giving up (she told me she “likes a challenge!” ) and used a variety of techniques to ensure I left the salon with the bouncy hairstyle I was looking for ; trying several methods until she found the one that worked with my hair best. Whilst having my hair done, I was also offered a complimentary hand massage which was a definite unexpected treat!
I found the atmosphere in the salon to be extremely friendly, the staff knowledgable and I genuinely felt that they cared about making sure you had the best experience possible; I shall certainly be coming back! X

I felt my hair style needed a tidy up and suggested a new style to Natalie - we discussed my choice & she agreed would work with my fine hair — a medium length bob!!! Well - hair Colin done brilliantly shade — took a deep breath for approximately 3-4inches off the back..... beautifully cut and fab cut and fabulous new look—- all the family approve & love it... hoping will be easier to mange over the weeks... looked Tea if Tea as well — Thanks — excellent service, courteous & attentive— Sue x

Great experience, good haircuts for mum and baby however I think the price for a haircut for a baby is too much money and price should be on discretion.

Loved my experience today, feel very spoilt and pampered, always feel great getting my hair done by Lorrie, and had a lovely hand massage to.

Fantastic salon. Have tried them all ! Laurie is the most loveliest lady who actually listens to what I want and does exactly that. She makes me feel like a million dollars. Customer service is great , tea and biscuits are also great! Would never go anywhere else !!

Steph has done a blow dry on my hair twice now and does a really good job. So happy with the results every time. Shame I am moving away. Thanks Steph.

It was a horrible experience to say the least .***** didn't listen to anything I said about how I want my hair cut .
I had asked her to cut my hair short from the sides and keep the length at the back.
I couldn't see how she had cut my hair from the back until I was shown the mirror . My haircut I so uneven it feels like a rat has eaten my hair and it looks horrible .
I cant set my hair as it is too long from the sides and too short from the back .
***** didn't listen to a word I said when I was so upset and in horror to see what she had done .
I repeatedly told her it is uneven and it needs shape and she kept saying it is uneven and in layers. Her words "my advice is don't cut any shorter ".
This is absolutely unacceptable that you do this to someone s hair,ofcourse I wasn't asked to pay for the hair cut and was asked to return back in 4 weeks time .
I have never had such a horrible experience where I had shown a hair stylist my own previous photos to make sure haircut is spot on.
To be honest I expected the salon director to call me back after what had happened but I think ***** doesnt think she made a mistake. She didn't once apologise instead gave a Christmas card and a smile on my way out .
The worst salon ever not because they lack skills because the main job execution is shocking.
Start listening and pay attention to what the customer is saying .
I am never going back there again even if I am paid to go .
I would give no stars but that is the only option .
I am going to make an official complaint too when I get to it .
I am fuming and feel like a practical joke .It will take months to grow back to my usual length .
