I needed some advice about a new colour and style for my hair. I’m 60 in May and wanted to treat myself with a new look. I spoke to a lovely lady at ask who spent time explaining to me what it would need to achieve that colour and the time needed.
I was made to feel welcome and the lady I spoke with was very friendly. Definitely recommend ASK Hair & Beauty.

I have a curly hair and it is a bit difficult to maintain and when I found ASK hair and beauty, I never looked for another salon. Sam the senior hair stylist, knows what to do with my hair, i just showed a picture of how I wanted it and she just did it beautifully. First class service as well the moment you enter their door. Well recommended to all my friends.

I’ve tried a few of the salons in Chesham and this is the one I’ll be coming back to.

I’m always a bit nervous about haircuts but felt really relaxed and at ease, and came out with the nicest cut I’ve had in a long time!

Sam did an absolutely fantastic job with my hair. It was damaged from a previous hair salon abroad and she managed to cut and colour my hair while preserving the length in an impeccable way. The salon was very clean and the staff is very good. You will get a 5⭐ treatment if you book with her. Very professional and also talks in details about what's going on your hair and what is good or bad for you. She uses products that are quite good for your hair and generally cares about the wellbeing of her customers. Thanks for fixing my hair!

I visited today for the first time I was apprehensive as I have been going to another hairdressers for a while. I met Sam and she was lovely, explained what I was asking for and she was spot on with it. Have booked another appoitment before I left which is not usual for me.

The haircutting skills are excellent. I really like the short hair cut Marta gave me. Sam is very enthusiastic and provides very good service. It feels as loving as home.

The haircut is much shorter than requested and looks nothing like the picture I provided. The salon charges extra for card payments but doesn’t tell you in advance. Poor customer service.

Sam knew exactly the right thing to do with my hair - even though it was my first visit. Same explains everything she was doing and even gave tips on what products to use to style my hair.

Sam is really a worth person going to for hairstyling and color. She really amazed me with the outcome and I am very happy with the result.

We agreed one length, but the lady just cut very fast lots more and when i noticed i was shocked, she just said it is what we agreed, period. Not space to say anything, she was a bit tough. Then she styled my hair, it looked ok, but is not what i wanted. Too short for me, I don’t know how to style i, and I lost a lot of the color i had made in my hair because she didnt understand what i wanted and just cut it very short very fast. For 47 pounds! I feel awful.

Marta did my haircut, and it turned out exactly the way I wanted it. I highly recommend her.

Hair looks lovely

First time to this salon. Marta was amazing. She transformed my dry unloved hair into soft silky shiny locks that I didn’t recognise. Well looked after with a cup of tea and biscuits too.

Second visit and Marta has done a really good cut on my short hair.

Thought I'd risk a walk in at another local (ish) salon as I was desperate for a cut. but no one beats Sam..she's so gifted..amazing cut yet again. Never ever had a bad cut from her in the 5 years. Always amazing.
