I just had possibly the worst haircuts of my life at your salon today. After showing a picture of king layers around my face, I was given layers all over my head to give it more “texture” which I did not ask for nor appreciate. It will take ages for it to grown out. After months for waiting for a haircut , I left nearly in tears and hair hidden in a ponytail. I told the stylist I didn’t like it but he told me he did that on purpose! Layers around a face are not layers all over a head! I feel awful and so disappointed. I certainly won’t be back!

It was my first time coming to Hobs, all the staff are very friendly, accommodating and very welcoming. My stylist Holly is really great, she understood what I wanted to be done to my very long hair that needed a revamp. I am very pleased with the outcome of my cut and will definite come back. I finally found the salon that I can trust my hair with. Highly recommended :)

Faultless experience...

My stylist and colourist Nick went above and beyond today. Following a lot of root growth in lockdown, my blonde hair desperately needed a brighten up and lighter feel to it. Nick offered his vision and expertise and suggested that working around the natural root would be the best way to reach my desired look - I was somewhat hesitant, but felt very confident and safe with Nick’s sound advice and proficiency. WOW... I am so glad I put my faith in him, the finished look was exactly as desired, if not greater. Not only was Nick a professional... he was patient (which is important to me), welcoming and great to chat with. It was my first salon experience and it truly felt like a 5 star service. The wider team were also incredibly welcoming, covid - safe, polite and friendly. The salon was very clean, vibrant and overall had a great vibe which mirrored a great team. I left the salon feeling great, I’ll no doubt be returning. Thank you all!!!!

My stylist was Nick.
He was excellent hairdresser who gave me exactly what I wanted. Not only that but he went out of his way to make sure I was happy and comfortable in the salon. He was so friendly and professional and made the whole experience amazing. I will definitely be coming back here for all my hair needs.

I had a cut and a balayage done from Laura and Vikki over the weekend. Both very pleasant and brilliant in the jobs they do. I even went back to the salon to get the cut slightly fixed by Vikki. Again very accommodating and helpful. Will definitely go back again there xx

Holly did a great cut. But I booked in for a full head colour and when I arrived I was told there was not enough time to do I full head so we had to make do with what you made available. When it was book I called back to double check the time and what we Booked in and the receptionist confirmed it was a full head.

My first visit to Aime and Maria now Jen is on maternity leave. Both were fabulous- my colour is excellent and the cut/styling is A-MAY-ZING. Thank you both so much for maki g my transition to so done new totally seamless! ❣

I can’t just say one individuals name as when I went in for my consultation everyone from the receptionists to the stylists were so welcoming.

Felt it was a bit rushed & didn’t check if I was happy with my hair before I left. In fact no one said goodbye!

My stylist was called Maria , always good and professional made me feel safe. The lady at the reception was uninterested didn’t welcome or speak told me to drop my coat on the floor next to my station which I felt was poor . The hygiene was as good as expected but am still paying for PPE when none of my friends are paying their hairdressers for that. Then when I payed the same receptionist was really poor didn’t seem to know what she was doing and I actually went back in to find out how much my hair cost me . First time ever I’ve had a real problem with Hobbs and felt as a good customer couldn’t wait to get out !!

Average experience. After 2 of my favourite stylists left I tried a new person.
My back was wet, blow dry took AGES, treatment left on too long so my head was cold. It took nearly 1 hour 45 for a one hour appt!

Frankie has been very friendly and helpful each time I’ve visited offering great advice on how to deliver the style and colour I wanted. Very friendly and a great representation of your business.

Good hair appointment, all social distancing, sanitising requirements followed completely. So disappointing that they are not allowed to remain open after all the measures put in place

I initially came for my colour with Frankie and asked for a last minute cut aswell - the salon was very accommodating and booked me in with Mei.
Frankie was very thorough and took no shortcuts in ensuring my colour was exactly how I wanted it. She took the time and I was so happy with the results.
Mai cut my hair for the first time, Initially I was going to have my ‘standard’ cut, she recommended a lob cut which was quite a drastic change for me, but she gave me the confidence and explained why it would be a good choice. I felt I was in really good hands with Mei And I was very pleased with the end result.
The staff at the salon are always very friendly and always go the extra mile to make sure your happy with the service.

Despite all the challenges of Covid made my day. After a very different visit last time, and my usual hairdresser being on maternity leave, I chatted to Holly on arrival about the experience and state of my hair! Appreciate these may seem fairly futile but Holly was just amazing, so attentive, listened to every point to understand my hair and went absolutely over and above to make this experience excellent. She spend a huge amount of time getting my cut just right and styling it exactly how I wanted. I highly recommend her, she’s a credit to the salon and am looking forward to the next visit! I haven’t had my hair restyled for quite a few years. I was able to talk through my thoughts of a graduated bob with Vikki and she gave me some more ideas also and made me feel very comfortable as she cut my hair. I love the result. Thank you.

Good experience in spite of Covid PPE necessary precautions. Very pleased with cut. Do wish receptionists would not keep calling me on day of appt to ask if I can come earlier though! Happened again - 3rd time. Makes for less relaxing afternoon...

I brought my 7 year old in for a haircut and Holly took excellent care of him. She listened carefully to what style I wanted for him and did a brilliant job. Afterwards my son (who doesn’t like getting his hair cut) said the best bit was Holly rubbing the shampoo into his head - it was very relaxing! ??

Holly was good asked all the right questions before the cut so no nasty surprises. Maria was great, made me aware of what exactly to expect colour wise. I told her my concerns and she made sure that did not happen.
