Lovely to be back at the studio for a trim and tidy up. The Cutting Studio is becoming a go to place for a hair cut for several family members! My husband and more recently our grandson who is 6 had a great haircut with Maisy! Lovely staff and service! 💛💛

Yesterday I had a hair cut with Maicey. I previously had a consultation with her as I have curly hair and it’s almost impossible to find anyone in this area who has an understanding of curly hair.

At the consultation it was obvious that she knew that cutting curly hair is different. She knew it had to be cut dry and that how the curls lie is important. She knew hair had to be “squished to condish “ and how and what products should be used and how hair should be dried.

So I took the plunge!

Maicey went over again what she was going to do and why. She cut my hair as she had said she would after having shown great patience in getting knots out. She cuts with panache and actually looks as though she is enjoying what she’s doing, enjoying being creative. After hair wash she explained again each product and why she was using it. Products were then applied in the correct manner- rubbed into her hands and scrunched up into the curls. Then curls were hand rolled and very briefly dried.
Excellent results, happy customer.

Cutting, drying and colouring curly hair is a specific art. Hang on to this young lady! Make sure she is allowed to keep updated on all curly hair methods. In addition to her skills she is also friendly, kind and charming. Top marks to her and your salon .

Im so impressed with all the courteous staff in the Cutting Studio. They are happy to do my hair the way in which I and not they would like to style it . However they are happy to offer advice which I sometimes accept. Always leave feeling pampered and pleased with my hair

As a curly girl, I have had a lot of disappointing hair cuts it has to be said, looks great when wet and terrible when dry. Salons specifically for curly hair are great, but they are either super expensive or too far away for a regular trim. I went for a consultation with Lucy at the cutting studio and have been a returning customer from that day. Lucy does an amazing job with my hair, it always has a lovely shape, and the layers sit perfectly when hair is dried. Would highly recommend

After 2 consultations and a very patient Maicey, I left the Salon today feeling so happy and pretty amazing. The colour was spot on. A soft natural look. A tiny cut which made a huge difference. Thank you Maicey for listening to what I wanted and for performing a miracle ✨️ Lovely salon. Will definitely be my new go to hairdresser

I have impossible curly hair and I looked up curly hair specialists and up came the Cutting Studio in Hazlemere. I took my life into my hands, crossed my fingers and made an appointment with Maicey. She talked to me about my hair - she cut it exactly as I wanted it - very long layers to give it a less triangular shape and then she taught me how to finger coil my hair. I have to say - I love the cut, I love the coil curls and I am one very happy customer. Thank you The Cutting Studio and than you Maicey.

I cannot begin to describe how wonderful everyone here is, from making the booking and doing a patch test to ensure no adverse reactions to dye to the day of the booking and everyone being so unbelievably welcoming and professional at every step.

Also, I refuse to believe that Mel is anything less than a miracle worker. I have incredibly thick and unruly hair - and she created something manageable, soft and lightweight that I cannot begin to describe how much I love.

I always look forward to my hair being coloured and cut by wonderful Lucy. Everyone so welcoming and kind. Extra special having the massage chair and head massage when having the shampoo and conditioner. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

The salon was very busy today but Kayleigh was attentive and did a really good cut for me. She styles my hair to my liking and it’s lovely to chat to her while she works.

Great haircut. I'm very pleased. Fewer stars for atmosphere because of fumes from a treatment given to another customer. Usually very pleasant atmosphere.
