Have used this salon for many years and had various hairdressers. Never been disappointed with my haircut

Everything about The Cutting Studio is brilliant! Staff as so friendly, everything feels so clean and very safe which is perfect at the moment!

This was my first visit and it was fab! I was treated so well by all the staff and Jade was fantastic. Can’t wait to go back

I was made to feel extremely uncomfortable by two receptionists, the first of whom told me that being exempt from wearing a mask meant that I could not get my hair cut, and the second who said I could but proceeded to ask if I was actually exempt, if it was on medical grounds (what other grounds are there?) and if I had documented proof. Needless to say, after the first conversation I had already told the second receptionist that I felt uncomfortable and wanted to cancel my appointment anyway. By the end of the unncessary and embarrassing inquisition, I was quite disgusted and will never return at any time in the future, which is a shame as I had been going to the same stylist for as long as I can remember but will now find somewhere that doesn't make me feel like a cross between a criminal and a leper.

We are so lucky to have such a quality salon locally. Customer service is at the forefront of everything the Cutting Studio does and all the stylists are highly trained and highly skilled.

Thoroughly recommended for regular hair cuts and colouring as well as special occasion hair and wedding hair.

Kirsty was absolutely amazing! I am so fussy with my colour & she nails it every time, even with my horrendous lockdown roots! It’s always a pleasure visiting the Cutting Studio. Lots of Covid secure measures in place and very considerate staff all through the visit.

After weeks of waiting for the salons to be allowed to open, what a joy it was to be welcomed back into the Covid safe salon. My mood is really lifted by having beautifully coloured styled hair by the wonderful Jade for Christmas. Let’s hope 2021 will be kinder to Jade and the team who have kept all their clients safe and looking gorgeous despite the pandemic.

I hadn't been to a salon since February, but my hair needed serious attention before my wedding next January. Laura listened to what I wanted and added her own expert opinion. She took time and care, checking with me at each stage. I left the Cutting Studio feeling like a new woman. I couldn't be happier. Colour session now booked to complete my new look. ?

It was very busy, (as lockdown 2 eve), but staff were as friendly as ever and felt very safe in the salon, with barriers between customers and plenty of cleaning going on. Highlights looked fab too.

I have been using this salon for a number of years. The salon has always been impeccably kept. The staff is very professional and friendly. I love the massage chairs while you get your hair washed. In terms of Covid-19, the salon has gone through great length to protect its customers and staff. Staff check your temperature as you come in. They have screens now set up between customers and staff wear masks and face shields.
