Lovely cut and finish with Cara. She is one of the cheaper prices and she’s great, which is good for me with price increase but not so the more expensive ones. Don’t agree to pay a green fee, why is that not in price increase?

Good news first: Mhairi was excellent as always. She is extremely kind, knowledgeable and professional. There was an issue with my hair washing care after the colouring and she helped to sort it out as well as humanly possible. So big thumbs up as always to Mhairi.
Sadly the hair washing was a bit of a disaster today - the colour should have been washed off before the shine chemical went on, but the lady doing that put it straight onto the colour without washing it off. The 2 chemicals clearly reacted with each other and caused a burning sensation all over my scalp and intense itching. Even now it is still uncomfortable & itchy.
To make matters worse my top was soaked down my back so I had to go home with a wet top on.
The young girl who kindly brought me tea tripped and poured some of the fresh tea onto my new handbag - also not the best - so all in all fabulous service from Mhairi and total disaster from some other staff members plus my scalp feels awful still now!!!
Nowi have been a customer for over 24 years and todays experience won’t stop me coming to Harrington’s, but I will be quite directive next time with the whole hair washing etc because that was not worthy of Harrington service today at all.
(At that price tag it needs to be perfect and also tbh I will not be happy to have £2 added to my bill on top of another price rise for environmental purposes because that’s the least I can expect from a modern salon that charges premium rates already and is about to put up the rates again -it should be a given that you recycle in this day and age and the customers should not have this passed on to them at £2 a pop! Sorry! Not ok. And also I do not want to be made to feel guilty for turning that down at checkout - it should not be there on my bill in the first place.)
Rant over now. Love Harringtons, love Mhairi, Debbie & Sarah, who are always outstanding in their service, care and skill!!!

I have been going to Haringtons to have my hair cut since I moved to Marlow in 2008. I have had a number of different hairdressers over the years and they’ve all been very good. I had arranged to see my usual hairdresser a few months ago but for various reasons they couldn’t fit me in so I went to Kai for the first time. He is excellent, he takes great care to discuss beforehand what his client is looking for. I have now been to him three times and I have always felt very confident in his abilities. He is one of the youngest members of the qualified hairdresser team but he definitely has lots of potential. I’m now in the process of moving away from the area to another country and I’ll be sorry not to be able to continue to visit Haringtons and Kai, but thanks to all the staff at Haringtons for their help and advice and work over the years.

I had a bit of an issue with the colour I had done 2 days prior. Michaela was so helpful and got one of the colour technicians to come and have a look and run another colour over it for me before she cut it. This saved me coming back to the salon another day which was really helpful.
