I left a review before stating how I wasn’t happy with how my hair turned out.
In retrospect I should have contacted the salon first, because Luke wasted no time in contacting me, and rectifying the situation.
I was so amazed by the level of care and attentiveness that was shown in making sure that I was happy with my hair.
Luke sat me down and asked my what I wanted, what I disliked and what I wanted the outcome to be.
Amelia was fantastic in bringing his vision to life and I was blown away with how well Luke, Amelia and the team are so customer focussed.
My hair now looks fantastic and my experience has been even better. Thanks so much! Will be recommending Golson to everyone.

I’ve been in 2 minds to write this review, as when I visited the salon, the staff were really friendly and lovely so I’ve been conflicted.
Although I was initially pleased with my hair, when I got home my scalp was so itchy, sore and sensitive and on closer inspection there was a lot of dye product that hadn’t been washed off my scalp, causing the itchiness and sensitivity.
I had a balayage done, and it’s not been toned properly. As they’re quite obvious bits in my hair that are brassy still.
The people were really lovely, unfortunately for the price I paid the treatment hasn’t matched up to it.

I have been seeing B for highlights, cuts and blowdries now for almost a year now and I always leave the salon so pleased with my hair. My hair is naturally very thick and curly and B manages it so well. I've never had a better blow-dry and they always last for days. B is so lovely and professional too and I always receive such a warm welcome in the salon. Already looking forward to my next appointment!

B has been my stylist for 2 months now and she has pretty much performed miracles to my hair from glamorous curls for my Christmas party to a sexy straight bob for every day.
She is thorough and a perfectionist at her mastery and will always recommend her services like I would with the rest of the staff who are very thoughtful and friendly when I visit.

No doubt, it was an awesome service. Nice hair cut, nice colour… really loved the whole service. But when I booked it online, the price came up £166, I ended up paying £250. I couldn’t understand. Although I booked for medium length hair, but after the hair cut, it was over shoulder length. I really couldn’t understand why they charged me this much.

Eva is a knowledgeable hairdresser. Eva has been doing my hair since Golson Brooklands opened. Before Brooklands Eva was working at the Golson Oxley Park and started dealing with my hair here. Before that Luke used to do my hair so I have been with Golson since they set up business which is about 14 years or thereabouts. Nice friendly people, and always happy to put the customer first.

My second visit to this salon was as perfect as the first, and that’s a rarity in hairdressers! The colour was just as amazing, the cut was spot on, proving the expertise and translation of what I wanted wasn’t a fluke first time round. Lovely people too and great salon all round!

Having had a booking transferred to the Brooklands salon, a bit of miscommunication occurred and it transpired I wasn’t scheduled for the right treatment (it happens!) but the team were fantastic - they really worked together to pull out all the stops and get my hair where I’d wanted it to be. I love my visits to Golson. From the moment you step through the door you are treated so special. The staff here are all lovely & attentive. They offer you a choice of many beverages. Then whilst your hair is being washed you sit with your feet up in a massage chair. And my stylist Eva is the best. I always leave with an amazing style feeling like a million dollars.

I often get complex colours done and Ashleigh is the best at figuring out how to turn my (sometimes half-formed) ideas into reality.
