I booked appointment today at 10 am arrived on time 20 minutes later still waiting went to receptionist and asked why I not had my done she told me hairdresser was running late and did not say sorry to me she told me only another 5 minutes I needed to waited 20 minutes later my hairdresser started my trim it was until he started cutting my hair he was the hairdresser before me he was doing foils on the lady next to me and was only half way through the foils when I arrived at 10 am. He has been a hairdresser for over 10 years and at least 2 times I had to point out the sides of my hair was not blended in he corrected it. I am a hairdresser and have been for over 20 years and blending in is basic hairdresser skill he needs to be retrained as for receptionist zero people skills

Came in to see James initially to get a root touch up and cut. Decided my hair was looking dull and miserable. James advice was amazing. Had a half head balayage with roots. Fresh cut and blow dry. Hair looks amazing and feels great too. Thank you so much

Really lovely salon, came in 2 days before for a patch test and spoke with Ann Marie about what colour i’d like
patch test gone well, booked an appointment for two days later with ann marie, however when i showed up it was her day off and someone else helped me out (totally fine probably just a miss understanding)

The lady who took me on that day was super lovely, however since i’m going for black permanent hair dye she only remembered putting on a protective layer around my scalp after it was already done in the front..

i only got my hair dyed and shampooed and have shoulder length hair. no conditioning, no blow dry, no style
basically dye and a rinse (what i’ve asked for)
when i spoke with ann marie she quoted me £60 because i have thicker hair, i was fine with it!
after my rinse i got to the till and another lady quoted me £72!! i spoke up explained to her i got quoted £60 so don’t understand where the green extra is coming from , she said “ohh ok ok let me check” and then magically got it down to £58, no explanation whatsoever .. also fine with me!
but once i’ve got into the car i’ve seen how extremely dyed the skin around my scalp was, all around my edges i was just full with black staining (when i also mentioned i’m going out the same day!)
i basically payed £60 just for the colour!! the service with how badly my edges are stained is literally non existent i could’ve done it cleaner myself if i’m being really honest! and who wants to now rub their sensitiv skin with rubbing alcohol …? not me .. this is the reason why i went to a professional hair salon … pretty disappointing for the price you pay
however the stuff is super nice and lively but just wish there was a bit more professionalism

Fay was absolutely brilliant. I came in with very damaged hair and she was very honest about what could be done but most importantly listened to me and my own concerns rather than just force a product or approach on me. Have already booked my next two appointments with her.

House of hair, the only place I would go to have my hair done. Fay is amazing and an expert when helping me choose tye right hair colour for me. The prove is when stranger came to me said love your hair colour and cut.

James looks after my hair and extensions for more than 2 years now and my hair never looked better. Highly recommended!

2nd visit and so happy with results. I will not being young anywhere else. Service was amazing even got eye brows waxed. Not rushed and definitely letting others know of this great salon.. 10 stars

Andrew always goes the extra mile . I went in for my extension maintenance and came out looking like I should be going on a date ! I don’t know how he manages to make my hair look so amazing ! Always love coming to the Salon ❤️

Janes has been doing my hair for a while now.. he is fantastic, he does a lovely blow-dry and i recently had highlights he did an amazing job advising on colour and after care..

Lacey was excellent and she did a great job with my hair. She also suggested tips on how to maintain my hair. When I asked her views on what type of hair she gave good and honest suggestions. Me and my entire family are regular customers of this salon as all stylist are very good and make sure the customers get the best experience and come out satisfied.

I told James the restyle I wanted after not having my hair cut for a long time I was nervous to get so much taken off. He cut it exactly as I had visioned it and checked throughout that I was happy with the length. I am very happy with my hair & will definitely be back to see him again! Thank you!

Love going to house of hair, everyone is friendly and great at what they do, walked out loving my new hair and really happy with the result

I'm loving my new hairstyle. Lacey understood what I wanted, she took time and care over my haircut and made sure I was happy with the result, which I definitely am. Will be back when it needs trimming.

Amazing service

I absolutely love my new hair, i was made to feel comfortable throughout my appointment and was given advice on how to look after my colour at home. A beautiful salon with a great team.

James is fab with the foils and so quick too!. I asked if there was a more platinum finish to my colour available a few appts ago and out came the colour sample book, no hassle and he advised really well. A colourist in the making ?

Absolutely lovely girl and I had a great experience will definitely be having chloe do my hair next time so happy ? with my result and my kids are so happy with my hair colour and that it is back to normal xx

I’m always pleased with the results every time I have my hair done by Holly. I’d highly recommend this salon especially if you’re nervous of salons as they put you at ease and take their time to listen and get to know your style. Friendly team and I’ve since recommended to friends and family!

Jodie is a master. Every single time I go in with a weird and wacky idea for my hair, she pulls it off and then some. She makes it look effortless even though I know she has years of experience to make it look easy! Her colouring service is always on point and her cutting and styling skills are second to none.

I’ve always been so pleased and in love with my hair and the overall experience with Holly. The colour is amazing and she makes me feel comfortable. I can’t imagine going to anyone else for my hair :)

Wanting to book a first appointment, with your salon, for a cut and colour I was asked to come in for a consultation/patch test.
The whole experience wasn't a favourable one. I knew what I wanted, I know my hair but I felt I was being told what I should have. I realise you guys are the professionals but I felt as though she was not actually listening to me and my wants, which made me feel uncomfortable. Surely the first point of a consultation is to build trust between the stylist and client. I could clearly see the stylist was getting frustrated with me and at times was quite patronising.
I decided to book anyway, as I thought I will give her the benefit of the doubt, only to be booked in with someone else.
On reflection of this whole experience, I have decided to cancel my appointment.

I went for a consultation for extensions for my sons wedding, Holly was super friendly, very informative and gave me all the information to my questions

Great haircut and service thank you

I have been passing in front of The Hair Salon since I arrived in London in December 2022 and always thought it looked like a.place I should consider to get my hair cut. On Tuesday my friend and I finally decided to go check it not and boy were we surprised to see how big and well equipped the place was. I was also fortunate to get my haircut as a walk-in. Ann-Marie who did my hair qas so professional, she gave me exactly what I wanted. I will only be having my hair cut or style at The Hair Salon for the rest of my stay in London and would happily refer them to anyone needing hair service of a professional. Thank you from a grateful heart.

I visit House of Hair Bletchley weekly for a wash/blowdry & regularly for cut/colour. I have been a customer for quite a few years. Andrew & all his team are friendly & professional. Annmarie is a delight & a very good hairdresser I look forward to my appointments every week. can thoroughly recommend House of Hair.
