I had a toner and blow dry with Crystal who was lovely. Overall experience at the salon was 5 star. Browns have very helpful staff who go above and beyond to make you feel welcome as well as sharing their expertise and recommendations. Highly recommend.

Firstly I certainly cannot complain about my stylist or my haircut both of which I am very happy with.
When I called to make my appointment I enquired if you had special days for pensioners, I was informed that Tuesday & Wednesday pensioners got a reduced price but because of lockdown and wanting to catchup that the pensioners rate will be available on Thursday so I booked my appointment for this day, I was taken aback when it was time to pay and was asked to pay £44 as I was quoted £29 when I made the appointment, when I queried this I was told that because my stylist was fully qualified £44 was the special rate for a senior, surely if I book the appointment because I was quoted £29 shouldn't this be what I should pay? I would have been happy for a less qualified stylist if that what £29 gets you.
I feel quite let down as I can't really afford £44 for a haircut.

I've been coming to Browns for about 12 years now and have been having my hair cut by Lauren for some time. Lauren always listens to what I say, takes in to account what I want, like and don't like, and implements it brilliantly. I was in last night 7.7.21 and am so pleased with my haircut - perfect length, and brought out the best in my curls. Highly recommended

I have been a customer at Stony Stratford branch since 2012.
It has been always the best for me .. friendly greeting customers, relaxed and professional atmosphere, very clean and fresh smell in the salon, stylists are all friendly, helpful, experienced and flexible, easy to book an appointment that suits very well my busy life style.
Last week, Lauren did an amazing treatment to my dry and damaged-ends hair. Then she styled it cleverly with minimum heat and brushing adding heat protector and in the end added serum ; and that gave back the shine to my hair and made me very happy indeed.

The perfect salon experience. Sadie was amazing washing my hair and a great head massage. Lauren is the best. I have to fit in a blow dry in my lunch hour and she makes sure I’m in and out in the given time but feeling relaxed and pampered at the same time.

Great experience. Ebony is very easy to discuss styles, colours etc. She listens and advises in a thoughtful manner and so easy to get on with. It makes me feel totally at ease which I never had before. Both family and friends say how nice my hair is especially the colours. The whole salon is welcoming and friendly. That's why I keep coming back would not go anywhere else.

Amber cut my hair yesterday and I love it! She listened to what I wanted, she checked as she went along, she was cheerful and careful and thorough. I don't live locally but will definitely be going back - thank you!

18 months since my last visit to a salon I felt both nervous and excited- Lauren really put me at ease, she listened to what I wanted and talked me through the process in a clear, accessible way. Good experience right from the start. A very short wait for the door to be opened. Welcomed in with a smile. Coat placed in a plastic bag, . Ebony was helpful and friendly. Made good suggestions. Not rushed. Came out with a good style.

After nearly a year without visiting the hairdresser because both of my previous appointments were during both lockdowns I couldn’t wait to get back in today.. I am not a person who blow dries her hair I prefer to wash and leave it. Lauren discussed different styles with me quite openly and honestly and I gave her free range to do what she thought would suit me best. I came out with an easy to handle style, the hair style I wanted without knowing what I really wanted. My next 2 appointments are booked let’s hope this time they don’t have to b cancelled

Caitlin (trainee, not on drop down stylist list) gave an excellent wash, cut & blowdry with styling. Used Parys, her trainer, expertise when she was unsure to good effect, to learn about techniques seldom used. Attentive to me as a customer throughout, both in chat & cutting. I'm very pleased with the result, I got the cut I asked for, right length and right lightness of touch re styling. Well done.

I work full time and I’m a masters student so finding the time to get my hair done is so hard and I’m always very stressed . Everyone at the store was so lovely and helpful.
