Browns Hairdressing Group - Stony Stratford

I have been a client of Browns Stony Stratford for just over a year. From making the initial telephone appointment with Lisa and Sian who are polite and friendly or sometimes having to amend it, there is never an issue. A welcoming team at this branch make it a relaxing stress free visit. My stylist is Lauren who is professional, patient and meticulous in her work. I always leave happy and wouldn't go anywhere else. Highly recommended.

I was looked after by (I think her name was Carla) today (10/08/19). She was so lovely and did a fantastic job on my hair colour and cut. The atmosphere was very calm. I would recommend!

Both ebony and Charlotte have worked wonders on my hair even after it being a massive job and taking many sessions. Thank you girls :) and thank you to the other girls too for there help.

Happy with the stylist very attentive. However, the price of the smoothing treatment has increased exponentially. The first time I had it done in October 2018 it cost £99 including complimentary shampoo and conditioner, the second time in March this year it was £120, today the price had leapt to £164 so is becoming prohibitive.

I am a regular customer at Browns in stony Stratford and I took my daughter in for a regular hair cut last week. I was extremely disappointed that she almost didn’t get the haircut that she had been looking forward to as the hairdresser pretty much insisted she had spotted heals lice eggs in her hair. My daughter did not have eggs or lice as I regularly check her and all of my children and I eventually convinced the stylist that it was in fact dry skin which my daughter suffers with. I really contemplated over leaving this review because I am such a fan of Browns but still feeling embarrassed a few days on I really feel strongly about it. I’m not sure I will be returning in the future. I appreciate that you have to be vigilant towards this sort of thing but it ruined our experience!

Greeted warmly by my stylist Kaye, seated and discussed what I wanted and some input from Kaye - I accepted offer of a cup of coffee - hair washed cut and styled by stylist with conditioner and heat proof cream just what I wanted and timing was good.

A wonderful benefit of having a haircut with Browns is that you are able to have fringe trims between cuts. My fringe needed a bit of a refresh and it has made such a difference to my hair. Thankyou Browns.

Another good experience at Brown's today with lovely Lauren doing marvels with my hair as usual. She knows exactly how I like my hair and always delivers. Wonderful hair wash and head massage by a really sweet girl (sorry I do not know her name) but very professional. Nice cup of coffee too.

I was happy with my service in the salon as always, although I was not happy to be called 2 days before to be told I had to have a patch test or they would not do my colour.
I have a busy job and a 6 month old baby - it is not easy to just ‘pop’ in. However, had I been given more notice - anytime in the 5 weeks since my last appointment - I would have been able to do it easily. I think it is poor service and inconsiderate to loyal customers to give so little notice and give the equivalent of a verbal shrug if it is not easy for them to arrange.
My service grade reflects this, not my service in the salon.

Ruby is an excellent hairdresser, very few can cut my very thick long hair but Ruby certainly can and she colours it beautifully. My hair is so important to me following a life threatening illness. It’s my barometer of my health and also one of my best assets. I very much value Ruby’s skills both cutting and styling.
