Went to have my hair done with Fran, I am so pleased with it. Lovely cut, had highlights after a difficult start and I am amazed at the results. Fran went out of her way to make sure I came out of the salon a happy customer and I most certainly am. I have made another appointment and can’t praise her enough.

Fran restored my confidence today as I was feeling so stressed about my thinning hair and condition and she frankly told me not to worry and.proceeded to tell me at least 3 positive qualities about my hair !! Her gentle hands bow waved my hair so beautifully i am more than happy and will def be returning ! Well done Fran I am very grateful x

My hairstylist today is one of the most talented hairstylists I have ever met and I have always recommended him to my friends. However, the service and comments I got during my haircut appointment were not very pleasant. When I booked my haircut thru the website, there were 2 cut and blow dry options in the website with different prices, either of them indicated which one was for long hair and which one wasn't so I just chose the first option. I explained this to the hairstylist and I even have evidence that the website was not clear. Despite this, it seemed that people in the salon thought that I was trying to skimp the costs by choosing the cheaper option. I felt that I was judged based on this error on their website as someone who cannot afford the services from the salon. I was even told by the hairstylist that their products were expensive so the hairstylist did not even bother offering them to me. I hope that no other customer would experience such treatment again.

I have been with Muir and Kerr for more years than I can remember! That says it all really! The salon is always welcoming and friendly … a place to relax. The hair cut/ styling is superb and I always leave feeling renewed! Thank you Muir and Kerr x

Such a gem of a place. Amazing staff, everyone makes you feel very welcome. Lots of smiles and laughter and always a fabulous haircut or hair treatment, you walk out feeling 100% better than when you went in!

I went to get my 5 year old's haircut. I had paid £10 in the past but today I was charged £25! I wasn't even told why but just a shrug of shoulders and a 'sorry, not sure why!' I checked the price list on the website and I'm sure I've paid at least £5 extra if not £10 since there was no wash involved. The haircut itself was decent enough. I wish they had quoted the price before they began. Or even explained why the price was that high!

I’ve been going to Muir and Kerr in Cherry Hinton for several years now, and have never been disappointed with my hair cut. The staff are great and highly skilled. I’d fully recommend this salon.

My daughter (aged 5) and I both had our hair cut at Muir&Kerr this week and we're both super pleased with the results! I decided last minute to get my hair done. Was so pleased to get an appointment with Fran. So pleased with out come. This was my first visit to this salon and will return.

Popped in today to make an appointment and managed to get a stylist immediately! She listened to what I wanted and executed the vision perfectly, all whilst being super accommodating of my wriggly 1 year old. I will definitely be coming back!

Friendly atmosphere, staff can't do enough for you and they're always smiling and happy. Never before have I felt so relaxed in a salon before. My stylist Missy is absolutely brilliant. I fully recommend this Salon!
