Excellent cutting in relaxed, friendly environment over many years

I went for a full hair colour. I wanted a lighter shade but was told that it's impossible without bleaching which makes sense because I have dark brown hair. I had hair colour in my ends that were light and I would've wanted to at least reach that colour. She put a very dark colour on me which and was told it's gonna get lighter. Except that 1 week after, it didn't change a thing. I felt like I went to get a trim for £97.

First professional cut for 16 months. Great experience and pleased with result. Be back for colour soon. Thanks again.

Absolutely incredible job, lovely friendly staff.

Had an appt with Amy the beautician. She was great knew what she was doing , good knowledge, thoroughly enjoyed the experience would recommend her for any waxing as was painless and efficient . Also had mani/ pedi and she also was brilliant they last ages.

Had my hair permed and cut by Robin, it looks very nice and smart.

As soon as the lock down ended I got a call from the salon and got an appointment. When I arrived everything was as expected.

Robin did a marvellous job of ridding me of an aging look and bringing me bang up to date. He was so reassuring and keen to give me a new style to suit my face shape and now natural white hair colouring. I was happy to put myself in his hands and the reaction from friends and family has been a united "wow"! So pleased. I feel like a new woman! ?

Absolutely fantastic, with 4 staff tracked and traced leaving the owner and another to come in and cover today they are working so hard so not to disappoint clients.

Great cut from Fran but you need to sort your thermometer. Initial reading was 32c which would mean I was nearly dead! Not very reassuring.

As always, a good experience. Friendly, welcoming staff. My hairdresser Jamie has been styling my hair for 11 years and always delivers. Wishing you all a Happy Christmas ??

Brilliant experience as always at Muir and Kerr. Really friendly staff who are following all of the current coronavirus rules.

Laura gave me what was probably my best haircut ever, and dealt incredibly well with the mass of hair I presented following the multiple lockdowns. She stood in for another stylist reassigned to another salon to cover someone ill. Ideally I would have known of the switch in advance, but everything worked out fine.

Jamie cuts really well but more than that I’ve enjoyed the conversation and the friendliness each time for the past 20yrs

The staff were so nice especially Jamie and the apprentice who washed my hair. I was really anxious and they made me feel at ease straight away.

Thanks for the colour it’s lifted my mood in these difficult times for all ?

...which gets harder these days. Eddie has been my hairdresser for many years and is, in my book, a creative genius. His runs a warm and welcoming salon with friendly and efficient staff. All aspects of Covid Safety rules are followed to a T to ensure his clients and staff are protected, so absolutely no worries there. Highly recommend Muir and Kerr.
