Muir & Kerr the Hairdressers

My hair was in a real mess after lockdown neglect. I booked in to see Robin, who had never cut my hair before. Looks great, straight away understood how I wanted it to look. Really pleased with the result!

I am very happy with my cut and colour. Missy helped with the colour choice and cut and was spot on.

Jane gives the perfect cut and colour. The cut is always soft, and manageable. Such a lovely friendly place.

My first time as my usual hairdresser was unavailable due to Covid . I was extremely impressed with the safety precautions having temper taken on entry etc. My stylist was so friendly band put me at ease and was anxious to get my cut exactly as I wanted it . I will return!

It was great to be back in for a pre Christmas cut despite the current restrictions on celebrations. It was lovely to chat to the staff. Happy Christmas to all!

I was really disappointed and upset after taking my son for a haircut. My son is only 16 months old but has had his haircut twice before at Muir and Kerr and the hairdresser was lovely and patient and did a brilliant job.
Today it was a different hairdresser who made it very clear from the beginning that he didn’t want to cut my sons hair. He did not try and work around my son and didn’t talk to him once. I was asked if I could hold my sons head still which would obviously be traumatic for a toddler. We left without a full haircut.
I originally booked at Muir and Kerr as they advertise that they are specialists in children’s haircuts. I understand that it was busy as it was just before lockdown but this is not an excuse for lack of professionalism.
Overall I won’t want to come back to the salon again which is unfortunate as I had previously had good experiences here.

Accommodated my request to donate my hair, the cut and results were amazing. I was delighted and relieved as it was a big change but I loved it! Will go again.

This was my first appointment with Vasi. I found her to be a very good hairdresser, skilled in her craft, attentive to my requests, and interactive throughout. I am very pleased with the result.

I was over the moon with the end results, a lovely relaxing atmosphere.
