I was very worried about colouring my hair. I would like to say thank you Caitland I love it. You were very thorough talking me through the process and what you would be doing to my hair. I felt some comfortable having the foils done that I nearly fell asleep!! No offence lol. I will be seeing you again, even if it’s a blow dry!

The salon is very aware of COVID processes and have all adequate PPE ETC.

As always, Jane was great with my son's and made them feel relaxed and safe.

I visited the salon today and had my hair highlighted, cut and blow dried by Amy. I last coloured my hair in January & have spent the past few years visiting multiple salons or dying my hair myself, never happy with the result. Until today!

Having a hairdresser ask me about my hair and take the time to discuss and show me different colour options was a new enjoyable experience for me. Amy made me feel confident in the decisions that we made and she has transformed my hair, I now have healthy looking hair with sun kissed highlights and a great new style.
I immediately made my next appointment with Amy and I can’t wait!

I went in terrified as I am still isolating for many reasons. I was put at ease very quickly and made to feel relaxed immediately as they are taking corona prevention very seriously. As for the cut and colour, I couldn’t be happier. I had a full change in colour and a much needed hair cut. I would highly recommend them!

This was my first post-COVID haircut and to be honest, I was a bit nervous. However, I was greeted at the door with a temperature scan and hand sanitiser. My stylist sat me at the chair closest to the wide open door and wore a mask (as did I) and face shield the whole time. I went at a not so busy time and was the only one in the salon. The service was - as usual - excellent. Highly recommend.

Always a great experience at Muir and Kerr, specially so today since I am struggling with back problems. Felt very cared for, nothing was too much trouble to make me feel comfortable.

And what a year it's been. Thanks for the attentive service and so glad that I was finally able to get my hair tamed again by Jane. I've been going to Muir and Kerr for almost 10 years and seen Jane throughout this time. Definitely my favourite hairstylist. I'm so glad you're all back at work and making my hair experience feel as normal as usual except for us all wearing masks but we all wanted to stay safe and sound.

After months of serious lack of hair care during lockdown - it was great to have Vasi @ Muir & Kerr make me look presentable once more!

I had an appointment with Amy and I'm very pleased with how my hair turned out. I was going from very long, lockdown hair to a short airy bob. I asked her to give me a bob that would suit my face and she totally delivered! She was very knowledgeable and the whole salon was super clean, well taken care of with lovely staff members. Definitely recommend :)

This salon is beautiful! I was greeted at the door where my temperature was taken and I sanitised my hands before taking a seat. All the stylists were wearing gloves and visors and the wash station had a glass screen in between seats - I felt safe and like a lot of effort had been out in place health and safety wise. I hadn’t been here before (and was a bit sceptical about paying so much for a hair cut compared to what I’m used to) but my stylist Vasi couldn’t have been friendlier or helpful. She knew exactly what kind of cut would suit me and spent time making sure everything was perfect. Only 2 other customers had appointments at the same time and they were spaced apart, so the whole experience was very personal and I felt lovely and pampered!
The younger girl on reception was very friendly too, and the salon does student discount so that was a bonus.

I will definitely be back for a colour service next time with Vasi!

I had my hair cut today. All of the necessary Covid-19 precautions in place (temperature check, hand sanitisers). Plenty of distance between chairs. Staff all wearing appropriate PPE.

Still a warm and friendly place to visit, still a great hair cut, and still the same friendly helpful staff.

Lovely staff, they’re all so friendly and make you feel so welcome and comfortable . Very clean and tidy salon too. Chloe is lovely, easy to talk to and a fantastic hairdresser. Always does a superb job on my hair. X

My experience today was a good one , I felt comfortable with the measures put in place at the salon to safeguard myself and others from cross contamination and it was as relaxing an experience for me as usual.
