This was my first time At Michael John and Freya was so good, she was gentle and careful with my hair, spent time on the blow dry and left my hair feeling and looking amazing. Great personality, very professional yet warm and made me feel at home. Thank you!

Booked a wash / blowdry with Holly, very attentive (didn’t end up with water down my back!), asked all the right questions and styled my hair perfectly. Would definitely book again.
Holly is a hard working girl, first didn’t know what to expect but when she started, was very serious, quick which I loved, hands on? done my hair exactly how I was expected and asked to be done even came with new ideas which I love about a hair stylist, she is one of them for sure, very pleased! I had been looking to get rid of the ‘orangey straw coloured hair that had taken over my head after a demi colour that i put on myself. Sophie had the wonderful idea of putting some light flashes through to help disguise it. I love it! It’s made it look so much better! Thanks Sophie x

I think over 5yrs I’ve been booking with Jamie-Leigh wherever possible, I’ve never left unhappy or unsure about my hair. She goes over and above and truly makes an effort to understand what her clients want and need.

Had a cut and blow dry with Libby last weekend 15/7 along with a colour consultation followed by Balayage and toner with her this weekend 23/7. Both times she was friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and really put me at ease. Loved the outcome of both my cut and colour. Great asset to the company and I will recommend her to others.

I pooped in on the off chance that I could get an appointment today and was really happy with my cut.
I looked like a completely different person and made me look younger.
I went in for wash,cut and blow dry to day and I was very nervous as I haven’t had a very good experience at previous hairdressers! The second I walked in I felt welcome and Eloise made me feel very comfortable. I absolutely love my hair and the new cut I have,she has done an incredible job and I will definitely be returning! I highly recommend!
I got balyage done by Sophie and I am so happy with the results, Sophie was very friendly and I could see Sophie was taking her time with my hair and made sure that she knew what I wanted. I am so happy with the results

I’ve had my hair cut by Libby a few times now and she always does a brilliant job. I can be quite indecisive sometimes, but Libby always advises me on what would look best and she is always right!
There is always a warm welcome at Michaeljohn regardless of who you’re booked in with, but Mick has cut my very curly hair for my whole adult life. He moves with the times, takes great care with his cut and I’m always extremely happy with the result! Wouldn’t dream of going anywhere else!

Amber is fantastic! The atmosphere is so relaxed and I am always given a lovely head massage by one of the girls. I can highly recommend this salon.
Jayne always does a brilliant job of my hair and I walk out if salon feeling so good and like I have had a makeover. She also always remembers our conversation and the service feels so personalised.
Everyone is in the salon friendly and caring.
I like my colour and cut, however my face / neck / ears are covered in dye. I am unable to go out anywhere as I feel ridiculous and have had to go home to shower / scrub my ears neck and a good inch around my hairline. It was almost as bad the first time I had my hair coloured with you. The next two times were better.
The reason I don’t colour my own hair is to avoid scenarios like this. Is this normal?
