First time coming into the salon, sisters are regulars but I was not disappointed. Conner was amazing and did exactly what I wanted, can’t wait to re book and come back. By far the best hairdressers from customer service, staff and service!

All the staff were so friendly and welcoming as soon as I came in. James really looked at my hair type and listened to what I wanted and gave me the perfect cut, showing me exactly how he was styling it through out. Looking forward to my next appointment.

As always feel like a new person Georgia is excellent put a beautiful silver colour on and Ania gave me a perfect undercut hairstyle absolutely love it live he salon all professional and welcoming wouldn’t go anywhere else!!

After a bad experience at a previous hair dressers, I went in embarrassed with a terrible hair cut, thinking nothing would fix this mess! But Charlotte was amazing! Nothing was a problem and she really did work wonders! I can not thank her enough! It was a lovely relaxing afternoon! And I am sooo happy with my hair!

Drove 30 miles to this salon as it’s the closest T&G to me. I have been three times before to see different stylists here but have used T&G for 30 years in London. I made the appointment the day before with ***** the manager and most expensive stylist. When I arrived in Peterborough I got a call from the salon to ask if I could wait another hour or have the colour technician cut my hair instead, because ***** was running late. I said no so I was told to come on time but I was still kept waiting. Finally ***** was ready to cut my hair. It felt rushed. I was precise about the length I wanted and kept pointing out that it was too long as she was cutting it, but this was ignored. ***** said that my hair was hard to cut because it’s thick and that because I wanted a blunt straight bob, that it needed precision. She is the first T&G stylist to have a problem with it. She said that wavier hair styles were easier as there was a bigger margin for error, and that I had been offered someone else to cut my hair as she assumed I wouldn’t mind who did it. If that was the case I would not have made an appointment with a manager in a salon 30 miles away for a £60 haircut. I wanted and expected the best. The final insult was when I was told that the hair colour I use was too harsh for my older complexion and I should go lighter. When ***** finished I asked her to shorten the back. She said that in future she would now know what I wanted as this had ended up being two haircuts. If she had just listened at the start it would have been one haircut. Before I left I spoke to the colour technician and was quoted £190 to go a few shades lighter which is frankly a rip off. I will never use this salon again. I did end up with a good cut but it was an awkward embarrassing and humiliating ordeal rather than a relaxing treat.

Always happy, Magda always delivers, she should change her name to Banksy and is always pro-active, needed some fullness taking out with my cut and Magda offered and explained why, us clients are not knowledgeable enough to know this but it’s a great feeling knowing you have a stylist that isn't afraid to offer things that your hair would benefit from. Thanks again and not forgetting the lovely shampoo and head massage, really sorry but can’t remember her name but upon seeing this she will know who she is :)

A little confusion with the appointment to start of with, I turned up on the wrong day Charlotte very nicely got me in even tho it meant not having a lunch. Once again she did an amazing job went from blonde to brown always gets it right ? thank you

Brilliant as always.

Conner was so attentive and sweet natured.
It would have been mice to have been offered a drink as I was really thirsty. On previous visits I was always offered a refreshment.

Magda has been my stylist for years and one thing she knows me for is spontaneous change, she worked her magic over several visits to give me a blonde balayage but due to going back on some medication since my breast cancer in 2009 I was advised to be kinder to my hair as the medication can weaken my already precious hair because of chemotherapy. Magda worked so hard to get me blonde but unfortunately needed to tone down and go darker which she did on Thursday. One thing I love about her is she’s so understanding and has the patience of a saint. Sorry for the long review but in this already harsh world we need to praise and praise where possible. Love you all at Toni & Guy xx
