I love getting my hair done by Marta she is the first hairdresser I’ve had who listens to what I want. She is so precise with her finishing . Couldn’t speak more highly. And my hair looks and feels so healthy . A five star experience

I visit Mode every five weeks along with my son for our hair cut and have done for a number of years now. All the staff are really friendly, but more importantly very good at there job.! We’re always very happy with the results whatever style we ask for when we visit, which is why we always go back. Would highly recommend!

I have been having my hair cut and coloured at this lovely salon for a few years now. The staff are all extremely helpful and friendly but most importantly create amazing results with my difficult to manage hair. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Having changed to Mode after using another salon for many years, I wish I had done it sooner. My hair has never looked so good and as easy to manage inbetween visits, all due to the advice given by Gemma & Natalie on colour and cut, I am always happy with the results Natalie achieves. The salon is modern and clean, and staff welcoming and friendly. Thank you !!

Today i had my hair cut and styled at mode in chester,by megan.and i left there feeling a million dollars,she was really nice..its now 930 at night and im still looking great...cant wait to go back xxx

Very friendly approachable stylist. Meg listened carefully to me and discussed in detail how she was going to achieve what I was asking for. She successfully delivered what I wanted and I’m so pleased. I’ve got a brilliant hair cut and a miraculous change of colour. A very knowledgeable hairdressers. Highly recommended.

I had. ***** sat me down and I explained exactly what I wanted…. Blow dry with waves starting at the crown and going to the tip. I asked for a looser more natural style of a finish rather than big bouncy curls. I said I know I have a lot of hair but don’t worry once you start drying it my hair takes and holds the shape very easily. ***** started blow drying sections from the back in what was I assumed was loose curls/ waves. I looked up 3 to 4 sections in to this only to spot that she was straightening my hair. I asked her what the plan was…she said she was drying it straight than going to curl it after….I said no that won’t work for my hair I specifically asked for it to be blow dried and didn’t want it curled with a straightener/things. If I wanted to just curl my hair I could.do that myself. I was actually appalled at *****'s response…. She said she had gone to far to start drying it with curls now….that it will have to be done this way. It was a miscommunication between us. Well I’m sorry but this is a terrible attitude. If a customer notifies you a few minutes in that they are not happy with something. The answer is not well I’m doing it my way anyway!!! I should have walked up and left at this stage. ***** finished straightening my hair and then proceeded to use a paddle straightener to get a waved effect. When she finished and looked at me for a response I said this isn’t what I asked for. In fact it couldn’t be further from what I wanted. ***** had my hair straightened to my check then one big curl at the end of my hair flicked in. It looked terrible and even if it’s not the style I wanted I sincerely doubt any other customer would be happy with their hair looking like this. There was no way I was waking out worse then I came in so I asked her to use a wand to curl the top bit. Very reluctantly and after disappearing for 10mins ***** did curl it with the wand. I sat in silence while she worked very displeased.

Was slightly nervous at using a new salon having used the same one for over 12 years but Meg was great. Felt so at ease and she did a great job. Will defo be back.

Gemma has been the only person I will let near my hair for the last 7 years. I always leave with great looking hair?
Would 100% recommend Gem for colour, cuts and extensions

Meg did a great job of my hair. My hair is medium length and curly which is difficult to cut, as I’ve been to many different barbers and hair salons and I’ve never been happy with my hair once it’s been cut.

Meg did an amazing job and I’ve had a lot of compliments so far!

It is always a pleasure to visit Mode.
Gemma is very skilled, and can even make sense of my inadequate head of hair. She is always interesting and fun to talk to and she, and all the staff at the Salon, make visiting Mode a most enjoyable experience.
