I recently contacted 'Regis' to query about having a perm, a treatment I have previously received elsewhere. The lady taking my call said that this could be done and kindly offered a consultation beforehand which I found very reassuring as I was anxious having not received treatment from 'Regis' previously. When I arrived at the salon I found the staff to be welcoming and sociable, offering drinks throughout my appointment also. The experience overall was very relaxing and more of a selfcare experience for myself, brilliant for anybody who is in need of some self-care themselves. My perm was built up very carefully and checked throughout before and treatment was rinsed off leaving my perm falling into place perfectly as a result. Altogether, for the full experience I paid £132, an amount I wouldn't usually spend on a hair appointment, however, given that the treatment for perming lasts upto six months, more depending on your hair I've found previously, I found this to be a worthy long term investment that left me thoroughly satisfied.

Trish was my stylist today, also a new comer to the salon had an enjoyable service start to finish with coffee.

I loved my cut and style and couldn’t recommend enough for actual skill , I am aware a part of going to a salon is conversing with the client . I struggle with anxiety and has taken me a while to get my hair cut due to this I had informed the stylist that ( due to needing a big chop) and thought that would be the end of the issue , I started bouncing my leg to self sooth during my hair wash and was made to ‘ relax’ and wouldn’t just move on and sort my hair . It made the rest of the appointment uncomfortable as I was forced to hide my anxiety completely and couldn’t enjoy this experience as any physical displays of anxiety were treated in it being pointed out and made to feel bad for being anxious. I loved my cut but maybe just allow others to display self soothing without being seen as a negative connotation would be great . I only say this as many of my friends stim from autism, adhd and anxiety and wouldn’t ever let a company know if they were forced to hide themselves to actually get a service they were paying for and I want to start this conversation in the Nurodivergent stims and how they can be addressed ( or just not addressed at all )

Had a wonderful visit to Regis today, Michelle advised me on colour and style and the result is fabulous, I feel like a new woman. Nothing was too much trouble for Michelle, she is chatty and friendly, so it was an enjoyable afternoon, definitely the best haircut and colour I’ve ever had . Looking forward to my next visit with Michelle.

Deirdre has looked after my hair for quite a while now and my hair is now so good I receive some many kind remarks about it. Unfortunately my health has been difficult to cope with, but I am a wheelchair user now back working and feeling so much better and Deirdre has helped me get me back again. A truly wonderful hairdresser.

Absolutely made up with my new colour!! Katie worked her magic once again..i decided to grow my grey out, Katie was great on informing me of the procedure, which after 6 hours and a very happy me I've got the colour ive wanted for a long time.. just hadnt got round to getting it done! I've been visiting the salon for a few years now, she's always done my hair, shes lovely..listens and advises and is so friendly, nothings too much trouble. I was with the new member of staff today (Tony?). I would highly recommend her. She put me immediately at ease and was very chatty and friendly throughout. Making sure I was always comfortable. She was very informative and helpful.

Always made to feel welcome and immediately put at ease. Michelle listens to my hairstyle request and provides guidance based on her experience. In very capable hands, a great cut which falls into place and which I can manage myself at home. Appreciate the time taken by Michelle to perfect the hairstyle (I have very thick hair!).

Really disappointed. My curls from my blow dry were all out within an hour. No product was used to secure the curl or set them. The stylist didn't seem comfortable with use of ghd oracle gadget and the ends of most curls were therefore left really straight. Ended up trying my hair up a it looked so bad. I was devastated to spend so much money on something that was hopelesss in last and very poorly finished.
