I have been going to Soul now for 3 yrs and I love it. I have a superb stylist.Friendly and very professional salon.

It’s been such a long time since visiting the salon particularly having had to cancel my last appointment.
However what a pleasure and delight my visit was. Greeted warmly by each and every staff member.
It was awful weather outside but a really warm atmosphere when entering the salon..
I am over the moon with my new hairstyle, the attention to detail shown, the personal touches and all in all well worth the travel for the amazing service given

First class customer service and technical competence from the lovely Sarah and Daniel. They both give sound advice but are good listeners too.
I was thrilled to return after lockdown and felt safe in the salon’s Covid measures.

I have been having my hair cut with James for around 20 years, he is amazing and a true artist, as are all the staff. The salon has a really personal feel. I would not go anywhere else and would highly recommend. Also Sarah is a true colour genius

Another excellent visit to Soul Hair. I have struggled for years to find someone who could deal with my unruly curly hair. Visiting Dan the first time was like receiving therapy. I can now enter the salon with no anxiety, an experience I used to dread in the numerous salons I have tried previously. Lovely friendly people and relaxed, safe environment enhance the experience. Would recommend to anyone but especially you ‘curlies’ out there .

Soul Hair Chester is like visiting family. Very open and friendly without being over familiar. The stylists, juniors and reception staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome. Their Covid19 protocol is exceptional, each workstation has its own box of sanitisers/wipes/hand sanitisers and the whole station is thorough cleaned before the next client is invited to sit down, I felt very safe the whole time I was there. Soul Hair Chester leaves you feeling very uplifted like you’ve had therapy. I wouldn’t go anywhere else

Tobie and Conor were wonderful. Walked into salon incognito in sunshades and my best Hermes scarf. Walked out head high. Tobie did a great job styling. Both v professional, skilled and charming, observing all Covid regs and more. Would confidently recommend .?

As soon as I came in Connor put me at ease with his friendly manner and it’s easy especially after lockdown to feel a bit rubbish coming to the hairdressers when you have done some DIY hair styling and cutting but Connor made me feel relaxed and he communicated clearly about what he was doing and made sure I was happy. Great hairdresser I think I have found a new one!

I’m absolutely thrilled with my cut! It was a great experience, Toby was fantastic! He mentioned all the things I wanted to ask, before I said anything. Such a lovely salon, nice atmosphere... highly recommend!

Had my first visit to the salon today for a cut and blow dry with Emma. She was brilliant and has transformed my hair from limp and wispy to full of bounce and body.
Emma talked through what I wanted and made recommendations which I felt I could fully trust. Will definitely book again!

Jade was fantastic at cutting my 2 year olds hair, he looks trendy and all staff really helpful at keeping him calm. Thank you ??

Sarah Stead is very clever how she gets colour to blend with your own hair and taking care so minimal use of colour but exceptional result with a healthy hair

Enjoyed my visit to Soul today. First cut after lockdown. Tobie and team looked after me so well. Loved the shampoo and conditioning treatment and extremely pleased with my cut and restyle..would recommend this salon. Very professional

Soul hair had been recommended to me. I booked the appointment thinking it would be a treat to have a day out in Chester ( I live in Conwy, North Wales) and I haven't spent this much money on my hair before.
Every thing seemed rushed.
I arrived on time, the colourist came over after a short while, did a very short consultation then she was off mixing the colour before I felt I had finished explaining what I would like.
When she returned she explained that a toner and conditioning treatment would be used afterwards. While carrying out the service she left a number of times due to a problem with the till.
The colour was washed off, a toner briefly put on, but no conditioning treatment applied.
During the colour development I decided to have more cut off than originally planned.
Before the stylist began my haircut his next client arrived.
The stylist cut the length of my hair, blast dried and said he would do the layers once dry. The layering was done with thinning scissors ( I have fine wavy hair). My hair was frizzy at this point until he curled using the irons.
Having since come home and dried and straightened it I am truly unhappy with my hair. If there wasn't enough time to carry out the service I would rather been told to come back another day.
I'm now left with very yellow blond and an uneven cut.

Had my hair done by *****, she had no idea what she was doing. I booked a 45 min and was charged for 60min. She hacked away at my hair and only on arriving I saw the real horror of what she had done. It’s not blended and uneven and I am totally embarrassed. I wrote to them and they have ignored my message. Please don’t waste your money

I came to Soul Chester earlier onthis year for highlights,lowlights & cut & finish. I was impressed not only with the salon itself but the welcome coffee and staff who listened to what I wanted, they are professional in their approach to their clients but most of all concentrate on what they are doing...

The most beautiful decor and beyond words amazing staff, from the moment I step foot in the salon I am so welcomed!. I get very nervous with haircuts yet this place just makes me feel at home , and communication is fantastic .staff go above and beyond for every single client. It’s so nice to see a salon with lots of love and laughter. Amazing start to finish.

I absolutely love my new hair cut. Thank you Marco for really listening and taking so much time to find the right haircut for me. I now have a graduated, textured bob and it’s so easy to maintain! I will definitely be back!

Always receive excellent service. They listen to the customer advise and deliver.

Cut and colour is always fantastic but it’s not a luxurious experience. Appointments never start on time. Head massage is short. Never offer any additional nicities other salons offer.

Absolutely amazing, as always. Sarah and Dan have worked wonders with my hair over the last 18 months. The colour is stunning and the condition is amazing allowing my hair to grow just how I’d hoped but never thought possible.

Excellent haircut. Coffee and a head massage before hair is washed. Leave feeling a million dollars.

I love getting my hair done at Soul. The entire experience is so lovely and relaxing. All of the staff are really friendly and accommodating. They are experts and I ha e always been blown away by me new hair at the end!

I have been a customer of Soul hair for a very long time and AlLWAYS love what they do, all the staff are lovely and friendly and you can feel a nice family vibe amongst them all. For the first time I had my hair coloured by Liam and my hair cut by Marco, both of whom did an incredible job. As always at Soul hair they really listened to me and I really appreciated the time spent perfecting my colour which is lush thank you!!! My hair cut is also absolutely gorgeous (if I do say so myself) Marco really impressed me and I would definitely recommend him and all the rest of the team at Soul hair if you want to be pampered and have gorgeous hair to be proud of

James has been cutting my hair for over 3 years. I feel confident that he understands my little quirks and takes into consideration my face shape, dress style and overall lifestyle. He gave me the confidence to embrace my natural grey / white. All staff are friendly and professional.
