Soul Hair Chester

I have been having my hair cut with Dan for a number of years now and nothing is ever taken for granted. He always asks how my hair has been and listens and makes suggestions for a new look. He is very innovative with cut and colour and I always leave happy and relaxed. Great salon with lovely professional staff.

Amazing service, the team at Soul Hair Chester are very attentive and nothing is too much trouble. I always feel fabulous when I leave. Dan and James are two of the best stylists I've ever had and I couldn't recomend them highly enough. Would also recommend Jade for the great job of sorting out my colour! I look forward to my next visit.

What a treat it is to have your hair done at Soul Hair. The salon is very luxurious, beautifully appointed and offering a wide range of luxury hair products. My appointment began with a lovely head massage by my stylist followed by my hair wash then a brilliant and very effective hand treatment. My hair was then cut & styled by Dan, such a relaxing time from start to finish. Thank you x

Having my hair done at Soul Hair is always a fantastic experience, the service is brilliant often head massage, hand massage along side hair cut. I always feel confident that I will get a good cut, colour or whatever treatment and are never disapointed.

Too many inexperienced staff. This salon is missing some more heavy weight stylists to chose from. It begs the question why there are only young fresh faces, won’t those who have more experience stay, is it the treatment of staff? Client experience lacks trust finesse and gravitas as a result. The only exception being Sarah from the look of it.

Having been going to Soulhair, since it opened I must say it has never lost its edge. From the marvellous James who always gives me a terrific cut and is full of great ideas to Laura who must be one of the best colourists in the country. All staff from trainees to top stylists very friendly. The salon has a great vibe. Would definitely recommend.

I love going to multi-award winning Soul and Toby. My MIL found it after we relocated, ringing every salon in Liverpool, Chester and North Wales! It was the only salon with chairs that have leg lifts at the basin. The luxury salon, has the best atmosphere-genuine, fun and friendly. It's immaculately clean-even when busy-loos are spotless with quality products etc. I had a life changing RTA leaving me in a wheelchair. When I first came, I was crushed emotionally too. I couldn't even do my hair, and nervous of being somewhere glamorous in my wheelchair but because of the raiser chairs, and kindest help, Soul has helped me access getting my hair done. Patient when my health fails and I let them down, the characterful owner exudes care for causes, staff and customers-as a result there's a family feel. Conditioning with hand & head massage is leagues ahead of other salons. Toby's my super hero-down to earth but talented-doesn't push sales at you yet you end up buying more as a result! I've seen him fly with many different styles. He's unassuming and completely trustworthy. He gently nurtures younger talent along and works brilliantly in a team. I've seen him be very protective and sweepingly professional of my treatments, programming future care etc.I can't speak highly enough of Soul and the staff. I went in yesterday & came out feeling like I was beautiful not just how he'd made my hair look (true or not-it's how I felt!) for the first time in 5 years since the accident. It's been a long journey getting a little bit better each time. Everything's remembered from visit to visit. Soul has the most appropriate name because I feel Toby and all, have helped me get back on my feet on the inside, transformed my hair & literally made me feel like I'm a new woman-even though I'm still in a wheelchair! I feel really alive again. Thank you so much X

I have been going to soul hair Chester for about 6 years now and I always have the best experience, the staff are always very professional pleasant and welcoming. Soul is a lovely salon and so are all of the staff

I’ve been a client of Toby’s now for nearly 2 years. I’ve always struggled to find a stylist who can really cut short hair well which gives me the flexibility of styling my hair In different ways. Also I’m ensuring my colour looks fantastic, Toby ticks all the boxes 200% my hair has never looked so good and I’m constantly complimented on it. The whole salon experience is so relaxing and everyone is professional yet makes you feel relaxed and feel part of the “Soul “ family.

My second time coming here and again the service was brilliant could not fault anything. Will definitely be returning for the foreseeable future.

Went for a slightly different style and as always Toby is great suggesting different styles, he always gives me tips on how to style it and we have a laugh, a great relaxing hour.

If you want a salon who makes your hair looking and feeling wonderful then this is the place. The staff here really know their stuff which is why I have been coming here for over 5 years. And my family do too! Whether it be a colour, cut or hair done for a special occasion I have never been disappointed. But most of all, the team are always welcoming and full of smiles and great chat - thank you Soul Hair :-)
