I have been visiting T&G Chester for over 20 years and I’ve never had a better haircut anywhere else.

I can’t remember the individuals name who did my hair today she wore colourful glasses. ( we was talking about Ibiza and the best place to stay. Sorry ?).the lady had extensive knowledge and knew exactly what my hair needed and explained all the products used and why they were used. She worked magic on my lifeless and flat hair, making it bouncy , added volume, depth and shape. This young lady is a credit to you!

From entering the salon the COVID-19 safety guidelines were followed.

The staff were friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere was calming and well controlled.

I thank you so much for my hair, it’s much better now .

It’s lovely to see the team, being greeted by familiar faces like Sarah. First cut in over 4 months with Sian and back again for a colour tomorrow- fantastic cut as always and when I become hot and panicky with the face mask I was able to lower it until I felt comfortable once again

I was nervous about going for my hair cut due to the current situation but I was pleasantly surprised at all the measures that Toni and guy have taken . . Excellent with the gowns , mask and towel . I felt at ease the whole time I was there .

Jade ensures that the shade of colour she applies to my hair is just right for my skin tone. I love it.

As ever, Gary did a splendid job of making my hair look and feel great. The cut always grows out so well.

Very disappointed. Went to a lot of trouble prior to appointment to find photos of desired style - explained exactly what I wanted an also specified what I did NOT want. Came out with exactly what I did not want. Had not had a cut for 6 months and had looked forward so much for this treat - will take months to grow again.
Stylists wore visor but no mask.

Went for a much needed haircut, but was worried about the COVID. Situation. T&G went far beyond expectations in terms of cleanliness & distancing. They were meticulous in maintaining strict hygiene standards throughout the time I was there. As always Gary is a fantastic stylist, which is why I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Warm welcome by all the team and all of us felt physically and psychologically safe in regards to all the additional resources in place. Even though it was different it was still personal and felt bespoke. .

I don’t know anyone’s name. Please cancel the next appointment I made. I only made it because I’m too polite. And couldn’t say no. I won’t be returning. I absolutely hate my hair. I came for help because someone messed it up and you turned me from a brown and blonde zebra crossing in to a white and yellow zebra crossing. Why on earth did you leave that toner on for so long? why did you make it silver? Never once did I say I wanted it silver. I showed you photos that clearly weren't silver. I also find it absolutely despicable that you had the audacity to charge me £178. THE RECEPTIONIST DRIED IT. YOU COULDN'T EVEN MANAGE YOUR DIARY WELL ENOUGH TO MAKE SURE I HAD MY HAIR PROPERLY DRIED. INSTEAD I LEFT DAMP, UGLY AND CRYING. IVE SINCE BEEN TO THREE MORE HAIRDRESSERS FOR ADVICE AND ALL THREE WHERE SHOCKED AT WHAT YOU HAVE DONE. I WONT BE RETURNING EVER AGAIN. I TRUSTED YOU TO HELP ME AND ALL YOU DID WAS TURN ME IN TO A HIGH VISIBILITY REFLECTIVE STRIP, AND ROB ME OF £178

It was clear I was upset. The girl who coloured it said it’s how it had to be to fix the bands. And To come back. Next time it will be better. But it’s now how it had to be. She didn’t have to make it have bright silver stripes when I never asked for silver. Not once did I say or show her a photo of silver. I don’t understand why she would do what she did.

So happy you are now open, Mel is a miracle worker, so pleased with my hair after waiting months for a cut, the pack when you get through the door is great with mask disposable gown and disposable towel they have thought of everything and the hands free sanitizer is first one I have seen. So glad you are back

Lovely refurbishment. Colour with Jade before my cut. All the staff relaxed and helpful about the safety precautions.

This was my first time at Toni & Guy and also my first venture out since lockdown in March. I was made very welcome and comfortable. All the PPE was available and staff adhered to to current situation. With regards to my treatment and haircut, I could not be happier. Thank you very much.

Couldn’t wait to get my hair back to its best and Jade and Katy B did and amazing job as always! Even with the new hygiene rules on place was a relaxed and happy atmosphere and couldn’t fault the effort to keep everyone safe. A lot of preparation and thought had gone into ensuring that the salon was as "Covid secure" as possible, I felt very comfortable with all arrangements, Gary did an excellent job, I have FFA(alopecia) and I felt that he listened to my situation, and it's the first time my curly hair has been blow dried properly!!!!!!

I visited Toni and guy on 16th July 2020 and was pleasantly impressed from the minute I walked in. I was firstly greeted by Sarah who explained how to ensure safety whilst being in the salon given current circumstances. I was asked to take my coat into the back where my own safety pack was there waiting for me. It contained my own towel, mask and gown. Everything was explained really clearly and although this sounds like a regimented operation, it really wasn’t. It was as so relaxed, clean and really really safe. All hairdressers are in visors and all equipment is sanitised before use. Great hair cut by the lovely Mel ?. Salon was gleaming and looked brand new!! It honestly is the best experience I’ve had so far! Well done guys and girls ??
