Mel is highly skilled at her job, her attention to detail is second to none and she always makes my time at the salon an enjoyable experience. I would highly recommend her to anyone

I love coming to Tony and Guy to have my hair done.
I can be rather nervous of having my hair cut.
However Sian is very professional and put me at ease. I feel that she understand my style and is able to cut my hair to my perfect style.
Following my hair cut I don't seem to have to style it much as it cut to the exact style that I want.
Sian seems to be a very competent stylist and she is always polite and pleasent.
It is a pleasure to see her every few months as I travel from North Wales especially for her to do my hair.

Excellent service from minute I walked in and Katie was so friendly and an amazing hair stylist. I hope I’ve chosen the correct Katie as didn’t know her surname.

I called into the salon last minute to see if one of the team could cut my mums hair to which they fitted us in straight away. All of the team at Toni and Guy have always been superb with her as she suffers from dementia and today was no exception. From the front of house staff to Lib herself; the team didn’t disappoint again, making my mum feel so welcome and treating her with such care and attention. I couldn’t have asked for more and would always recommend the Chester branch to anyone. All of that aside, Lib made a fantastic job of cutting my mums hair to. So much so, that she says she feels like a new woman! Thank you so so so much :)

This was my first visit to the Chester Salon and was delighted by the friendly reception as I walked through the door. I was also delighted to have Liv style my hair she seemed to understand how I wanted my hair to look straightaway and took time over it.

Sian has been cutting my hair for quite a while now, every single time I’m super happy with the results.
Sian is not only a fantastic stylist but also a lovely person whom I feel really comfortable around.

Chelsea gave me exactly the colours that we discussed She was brilliant and I would highly recommend.

i have paid for the most experienced stylist which was £57 for a cut and blow. I went in with a long bob and I asked for a bit of shape, nothing more. Now I have what looks like a mullet !! I have to tie my hair up every day and just wait for the layers to grow again! My fringe was a terrible shape aswell. Could of done a better job myself!

I have been there 5 times and I cannot understand why the same job (colour and blow dry) from exactly the same people doing it exactly in the same way, can have very different prices. The blow dry in particular once is 26, once 28, once even 35 with the same person performing it and with exactly the same result! Chester is not London! Not paying 35 quid for a simple blow dry. I am very disappointed: I find this as a very unfair way to charge their services. Cancelling my next appointment.

I had a hair cut 2 weeks ago at Tony and guy in Chester and haven't been able to do anything with it since!

I'm now at my local hair salon asking advice on the cut and why it is such a mess. It is now clear that the ends have been badly razored, the roots remain thick and there is no consistency to the lengths, so much so it has no style at all. It's a disaster.

I would have expected better by a well known salon brand as I genuinely feel they have ruined my hair.

I'll be calling them today to complain.

I asked for ash blonde/grey balayage. My hair is brown and I know it can be difficult to take to light colours. I wasn't told at all before I had my hair done by the receptionist or my hairdresser that there is a possibility it will go yellow/copper blonde. I was only told it might not go as light as I wanted, which I was fine with as long as it was the ashy grey I wanted. I even had a bit of my hair taken to test the dye beforehand and didn't get a call back saying it didn't work. I was told there is no problem if I don't get a call back. So it is now a yellowy balayage which looks embarrassing and I've been told it needs going over another 1-2 times to achieve the ash colour I want, which I can't afford for £108 a go. I also feel massively ripped off as I payed a £25 deposit and was told it would be £100. It ran over an hour and a half and I'm assuming that's why I've been charged more. I also thought the deposit would be taken off the full price so was expecting to pay £75 on the day not £108. So I've paid £133 for a colour that I'm really not happy with and have to pay more money now to get it sorted. If I had been more informed on the possible outcomes before the dye was on my head I wouldn't be as upset.

I command my hair to grow longer just so I can venture back to toni&guy. For weeks I long to feel sians soft hands caressing through my scruffy locks.

This was a disappointing visit. My hair cut was 47pound and I have had to go elsewhere to fix it!. The appointment was booked with and senior stylist. I can't see how someone so young can be a senior stylist especially given this hair cut. I am true believer that it's difficult to get a bad hair cut its more ... who's cutting style you prefer. I can hand over heart say this was a bad cut. And was wrong. Everything with the cut was fine (not what I asked for but fine) until my hair was dry. A further inch was taken off my new bob length with no sectioning so... its not straight. Then the chipping in started. Sian held my hair to close to the root and cut into it Wrong!! So.... I am left with a bowl layer completely disconnected to the length and very short. **** was that oblivious to her actions that she even commented that my fringe can from far back..... NO IT DIDNT. This treat has cost me a fortune. I'm gutted as I thought going to toni and guy would be a nice treat.

Haircut is great as always but the people make such a nice atmosphere in the salon. I keep coming back no matter how far I need to travel. Great advice for new styles and colours too.
