Never disappointed walking into this salon. I'm not a once a month high maintenance kind of girl, because I'm too busy enjoying life to be taking pictures of everything but when I need to look good I walk into this salon and always walk out thinking that I need to join the revolution of monthly hair cuts. I have been a visiting Toni & Guy for many years and built up a lasting friendship with my regular stylist, Mel during that time. Mel has battled with my thick nylon-like hair for almost a decade and is now the only person I can trust to cut my hair on a regular basis. Each visit to Toni & Guy is an absolute pleasure and I always leave feeling rejuvenated, smart and confident ready to engage with the outside world. Highly recommended! :-)

Can't fault Toni & Guy Chester the quality shines out in every area from reception through to all staff whether senior or junior. My colour was as always exactly what I wanted and I felt welcome and valued as a customer. There's a really uplifting atmosphere in the salon that's often missing elsewhere.

It's always a treat to get my hair cut at Toni and Guy. As style director Mel is truly talented at what she does and creative. Mel always listens closely to what you want and I always feel valued as a customer.

Technician Jess was a lovely and professional member of staff who knew what would technically look best on me. Overall my hair condition feels so healthy and I love my colour - the entire experience was friendly, the salon was clean, -and nothing was too much trouble. Perfect!

The team are always friendly attentive and come across as genuine, they're happy to accommodate any requests and the salon is constantly being cleaned. My only issue is at times my colourist can be a bit sloppy and I notice uneaven bits in my hair. At the moment I have a section underneath that has bled so when I tie it back it looks rubbish. Sadly for my job I have to tie it back. Issues are always fixed the next time I visit but I have to put up with it for 6-8 weeks and its never called out to me even though it must be obvious to the person cutting or drying. I also think there is a disjointed service when it comes to the process of applying toner. I think this should be done by the colourist who knows where it is needed and the desired result that their client wants.

I've been having my hair cut and coloured at Toni & Guy Chester for 2 years and have experienced second-to-none experience from start to finish.

Gary and his lovely team have always gone the extra mile, a warm welcome at reception followed by a truly professional service from wash to blow dry. Gary and Mel have never disappointed me with their second-to-none service, hair-care tips, creativity and warmth - I would not go anywhere else! Having moved from the area, I still find the excuse to travel back every time to have my hair done at T&G Chester.

OMG what a disaster, paid £105 for colour and cut and it ended up being dyed 3 times before they got it right... never again
