Just had my haircut with Jo at Vain and I am super happy with it. It’s the most precise bob I think I’ve ever had. Thanks Jo, it’s 5 stars from me⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Billie and Georgia took me from a mid length bleach blonde lifeless boring bob to a super shiny, chestnut brown long pixie cut and the improvement to both my look and confidence is huge. I would recommend any one to book with them. They are both super talented.

I first found out about VAIN through a recommendation from a friend; it’s a hidden gem on the first floor of a beautiful old building in the centre of Chester. The place has a great atmosphere and the interior styling isn’t anything like your average salon. They have a wonderfully eclectic team of incredibly talented stylists and colourists and I’m lucky enough to have my hair coloured by joint owner Siobhan. Not only is she completely professional, incredibly knowledgeable and creative, but she’s also a really lovely person and helps make the salon feel so welcoming and friendly x

Best haircut I have had in a long time, Jolene did exactly what I asked for. I was given some good advice on drying and products as well. It was my first visit and I will definitely be going back there.

You will not find a better salon in Chester! From the location, to the decor, service and quality...everything is perfect. Not your standard salon, it’s far more exquisite!
Jolene is the only one allowed to do my hair. She is the best hairdresser you will ever come across. Not only is she the friendliest and funniest, she is also extremely skilled. Nothing is too much for her.
The salon itself is out of this world. It reflects Jolene’s personal style and taste. You won’t be disappointed.

I had my hair cut with Jemma today at Vain. I usually feel nervous having my hair done but the setting was inviting and the staff lovely and friendly. I felt at ease. Amazing salon and completely different from the sterile environments we are used to. Since I have been going to vain I've been with jolene, Damien, Gemma and Emma. All outstanding and at the top of their game. Would have no issues with going with one of the many other stylists too. The atmosphere is chilled and welcoming. The decor cool and quirky. Come as you are at vain without judgement. Everything about it is incredible. Enjoy!!

A haircut should be an uplifting experience and as usual, just entering the cool, stylishly curated styling room at Vain, I felt immediately better about myself. The delicious coffee, magazines and cookbooks to leaf through and cute doggie scuttling about make it a relaxing 3hr session and with Gill at the controls I am sure to feel fabulous when I leave.

Booked myself in for a rare treat to get my hair done in a salon for the first time in 7 years and was not let down in any way. Was waited on hand and foot before i went in the chair. Lovely staff and beautiful surroundings. Coming again next time my hair needs cutting, without a doubt.
