TONI&GUY Knutsford

visited last week & have been a loyal client for 6 years wouldn't go anywhere else in Knutsford. They know their stuff what a friendly hip team! x

I had heard some mixed reviews of Toni & Guy but I have to say I was really pleased. My stylist (Kate) was friendly, helpful, informative and a really good stylist. Excellent advice and really pleased with the results.

I have just returned from getting my care cut (Knutsford branch) - I can’t tell you how disappointed I am with the whole service!! My appointment was at 4:20 - I was sat down and had my hair washed, the gentleman who was cutting my hair didn’t give me any opinions on styles, just asked me how much I wanted to have cut off. I was sat back down after my hair had been washed and asked if I wanted a drink, in which I asked for a Latte - I did not receive this coffee.

Towards 5pm other staff started to leave as they had finished their shift, I could tell my hair dresser wanted to go as soon as he could.. other members of staff were waiting around looking at me as they were wanting to mop up the hair around me. This made me feel very awkward and uncomfortable - it did not put my in a relaxed mood as a normally hair dressers would.

The service I paid for included a cut and blow dry, upon leaving, my hair was still damp and frizzy and felt I was pushed out of the door. I had to come home and finish it off myself - this is not something I was expecting to do!

As mentioned earlier, I am completely and utterly disappointed with this service. I chose Toni&Guy as it’s a well branded hairdressers that I thought I would enjoy. I’m sorry to have to send this message however I want you to know my experience, I would never want anyone else to experience this themselves!

I did not demand the 4:20 appointment - they offered me that appointed, if it was too late for them then they should have arranged a more convenient time! As you can tell I’m really not happy and won’t be returning again.

Went in with a picture of the haircut. Hairdresser Jamie took time to get my hair to look exactly like the haircut in the pic. Very pleased....

My third visit to Toni & Guy and will be last I think. Previous visits have been great. However, this time I was left waiting for 20minutes and I was offered a drink but never brought it. The person who blew dry my hair did not ask what style I wanted it in and proceeded to blow dry it straight with no product - left the salon like I’d just rolled out of bed. Colour was okay but looks slightly patchy in places :-(

It was my third visits to the Knutsford salon. The first visit was great. The second not so, as I had to go back to have a few of the highlights 'fixed'.
My last visit was with a different stylist. A more 'senior' stylist, and I couldn't have been anymore disappointed.
My highlights resemble a zebra, thick patchy stripes along both sides.
The top was great, so it's not a question that she isn't able to do it to a high standard.
As the stylist in question didn't take the time to thoroughly check her work I can only assume she didn't care, lost interest or was just too busy.
I originally picked Toni and Guy because in my eyes it was a trusted brand.
I certainly wouldn't dream of going back to Toni and Guy in Knutsford.
One of the trainee apprentices however is an absolute joy to speak to. His enthusiasm to do well is very clear to see.

The colourists and stylists work really hard to understand what you want from your appointment and I've always been very happy with the results. Staff are lovely: friendly and helpful.

Great salon made even greater by fabulous staff who make you feel welcome and well looked after from the moment you walk through the door.

Bev knows exactly how to do the perfect hair cut! She knows my hair so well that it always look instantly better when she's cut it, but also she knows when to chat and when to just let me enjoy a moments peace!
