I have been to Toni and Guys a number of times over her years and I had decided I was going to make it my regular hairdresser. However., I booked an appointment for 3.45pm today. I rang to say I’ll be a few minutes late- I was told I had 10 minutes. I said I might be a couple of minutes over. As I was parking up just literally 1 minute after the time allowed the hairdresser called me and said she couldn’t do my hair now as the next person had arrived??? Why would two customers be booked that close together. Not sure I even believe it. And I have had to wait many before in there for my hair. Not impressed at all. I won’t name the hairdresser as I am better than that. But I am really disappointed in her. Won’t be going back as I will not be treated like that.

Booked a consultation appointment after reading other reviews.
I wanted to discuss restyling & colouring my hair.
Arrived for my appointment approx 10mins early. Was told one stylist had family emergency & the other stylist was stuck on a train.

I enquired as to why no one had phoned me - which would have been nice, only to be told they didn’t have any contact details for me.
I can definitely remember receptionist taking my mobile number when I booked appointment the week before.

No offer to rebook appointments.
What a way to treat new clients & run a business.

I have visited my dream team, Rachel and Daryl and as always I’ve come away feeling fabulous. These two are consummate professionals and my cut and colour looks great. Thanks to them both as ever.

Julia cut my hair exactly as I asked her to and I am very pleased with the result.

Leon had read my booking notes and took time to understand what I wanted. He gave good advice on what would and wouldn't work and gave me a great haurcut. He knew about curly hair and didn't try to do anything that just doesn't work, like blow drying.

Perfect trim and blow dry to set me up for the weekend. Leon’s friendly and professional, I would highly recommend

As always excellent treatment by Sophie. She is so gentle and such an amazing nail art artist. If you give her a theme she always comes up with a showstopping result.

Leon was so great! I have been on a journey with my hair trying to get to a blonde that isn’t too artificial and icey nor yellow & golden. Leon gave me the most gorgeous, natural-looking creamy highlights. The salon was really lovely too. Blow dry was great and he also fixed up my fringe for me. Thank you SO much! Will definitely be rebooking. I have been a Toni & Guy customer for 7 years now at various salons and the staff always go above & beyond, as well as providing high quality services.

I have been coming here for over 10 years now & wouldn’t let anyone else do my hair colour or cut. Laura’s skills are great, I always leave feeling amazing with fresh hair that lasts! 🩷

As always, this salon is a pleasure to visit.
Friendly and professional service is delivered by all. A great chance for a good pamper and chat with results you get complimented on.

Had a fantastic appointment with Daryl as usual. Always very accommodating going through variations to usual style to keep it upto date with a cheerful countenance.

Wow what can I say? What an incredible experience from the reception staff to the head massage to my hair cut and blow dry, completely professional and an amazing haircut, cannot recommend this salon enough . Couldn’t go anywhere else now, thank you Absolutely UNREAL service

I had a colour done with Leon and he was great. Really lovely to chat to and have a great consultation. He listened to what I wanted and showed me a picture of what he thought would look best. I’m really happy with the result and will definitely be going back to him in the future.

I had highlights with Laura and a cut and blow dry with Toni. As always they listened to what I wanted and did a superb job. I cannot recommend them both more highly.

Lovely Leon did my highlights - it’s always a great experience at the Macclesfield salon. All the treatments are done with great care. Plentiful supply of coffee and a lovely warm sense of humour. I had a new toner on too which was really good. Daryl cuts my hair and I’m never disappointed - he actually listens to me and executes a precision cut which always makes me feel good.
All of the staff are very attentive and professional.

It was my first time at Toni and guy and it was a perfect experience. What a nice surprise having the wash chair has a back massage! Toni has cut my hair perfectly. It's so hard to style because it's very thick and coarse but Toni did a stunning job and I have booked my second appointment with her. Thank you ?

What a lovely experience. Cake and nosecco on tap. Lovely atmosphere and fabulous music from the 60’s. Fantastic hair as always from Racheal. The fish are so calming too.

What can I say.. apart from Daryl and Rachel have actually made miracles with my hair. Having used box dye on my hair for years. No one has been able to lift it like Rachel. She is amazing extremely experienced Daryl, also does the best Bob ever. I went from long to short and everyone has commented how modern, and gorgeous it. Finally found the best of the best.

Amys cut was great.

I was surprised and disappointed though that after being told to book on a Tuesday because kids cuts are 50% off neither Amy or the receptionist knew and told me this had been stopped 6 months ago. It’s not Amy’s fault and she did give me £15 off the £48 cut but I must admit, I felt a bit unhappy with Toni and Guy for misadvising me and not honouring the promise. Having said that Amy was lovely and my daughter had a good cut

Sophie always does such a good job with my gel nails. I would definitely recommend her to anyone.

In the past I’ve been blonde, but a bit yellow. Laura got it spot on. Best colour I’ve had in a long time!
