Macadamia Hair Spa

Was really upset leaving the salon yesterday. Have been coming for years (maybe 12?) my stylist is amazing, and yesterday was just so busy she couldn’t do her job. Think too many appointments or booked in incorrectly meant by nearly hour 3 I wasn’t even close to being finished I am usually 2 and a half hours and delighted but yesterday I was getting more and more anxious after an hour and twenty with colour on and still waiting. In writing this there is no blame at all on my lovely stylist who always does a good job- the systems were way out yesterday and it was just a really bad and stressful experience with two little ones waiting at home

Sarah is the most amazing hair stylist and all round human being. She really listens to the small details of what I do and don’t like and goes out of her way to make me love my finished colour/cut/style. I would recommend her to anyone and I’d be utterly devastated if she ever left (no pressure Sarah 😜)

As always, Macadamia is a very professional (well managed processes, no waiting around or being rushed…) yet comfortable, friendly and homely salon. It will always be my go to.

Been visiting the salon for over 5 years. I always look forward to my visit every month. The team are endlessly cheerful and have a smile and a chat for every client.
If you can, ask for the luxury finish, the head massage is amazing!

Great consultation and appointment. Leyton made colour and style suggestions and I felt he listened to what I wanted. I'm normally not comfortable in salons and want the appointment to end quickly but Leyton made me feel relaxed. Love my colour and cut.

I've completely forgotten my stylist name, so sorry! But she was fantastic! She advised me perfectly and cut my hair to look better than I thought it could! I couldn't recommend the salon more and have already booked to get my hair redone in January with the same stylist :)
The salon is lovely, the massage hairs whilst you get your hair washed was a great touch and very relaxing :)

If I could give ten stars I would! Not only was Lauren a Saint when I was needing support before I went away but She has completely transformed my hair from how it was to healthy and in beautiful condition! She’s been a therapist, a hairdresser, hairstylist, and an amazing woman in general!

Friendly salon that's always busy. Gill has been my stylist for some years, always knowledgeable, listens, gives advice and suggests improvements to my style. Professional cutting and styling - I'm always happy with the result. Would recommend.

As always an excellent experience and advice from Sarah over my hair and even advice over nails and make up. Had a trail run with my makeup from the lovely Shannon, which was amazing and I am looking forward to getting my nails done soon. Kirsty has taken over as my new lash technician, being new to the Macadamia team. She did them exactly how I wanted from my first appointment with her, listening to the specifics of how I like them. I’m on my second set with Kirsty now and they’re staying in tact even longer than they usually do. I’m made up with them - and Kirsty is lovely and friendly to chat with too 🙂 thanks again!

Despite the hairdresser I was booked with being off work sick, Lauren ensured my appointment still went ahead and did the new colour herself.
And the result was amazing!

Great visit as always, Carleanne understands what I want even when I don't know exactly what it is that I want myself! Very pleased with the result and enjoyed the shampoo and treatment from Lauren which included a very relaxing head massage. Plenty of coffee offered and enjoyed by me.

I saw Louise for the first time as I couldn’t get an appointment with Carly due to me needing a particular day. She was amazing just like all of the other staff I’d seen. Thanks for a positive experience with a smile x

Just love the salon.

I arrived on time and was told to sit in reception and was left there for over half an hour without any warning that they were running late. Gillian finally came to get me after a long wait and gave me a very brief apology. She asked me if I had any issues with my scalp or hair and I said no however when I came to pay I was charged an additional £8 for a ‘treatment’. I had not requested or been offered a treatment so I was surprised to be charged for one but felt put on the spot and under pressure to pay the additional charge. I feel if you are going to add an extra charge on the customer should be asked first and I honestly feel like any treatment should have been free after making me wait half an hour. I have been coming to this salon for ten years but this will be my last visit.
