I don't write reviews but for Hatstand Nelly I have made an exception .......
I've been a Hatstand Nelly regular for many years and I just love coming here, from walking in the door till you leave the experience is absolutely amazing.
Everyone is so positive, friendly and professional and you are made to feel very special.
Louise is just fantastic with my hair (as is Lorraine, Megan, Charlotte and anyone else who I've missed) and the advise given keeps it looking great long after the salon appointment.
I can't miss out Denise who is simply the best and looks after you and all you hair needs and appointments.

I'm not even 3 yet and today was my 4th visit to Hatstand Nelly. I like going to get my haircut by Charlotte. Everyone always speaks to me and says I'm cute. I can be very shy si it is nice that everyone is welcoming and friendly. Thank you.

I went in for a restyle - long to short hair. Charlotte took the time to explain what she would do, based on the pictures I had brought with me and advised me of how to style my hair (brushes, styling products and techniques). I am very happy with my new style!

I've been a Hatstand Nelly regular since 2005, I love the funky, friendly atmosphere, the smoothies, the array of shampoos for every type of hair and mostly the way that Lorraine is able to replicate my individuality through my hair choices, guide me so that for that few hours I feel special and my hair looks absolutely fabulous. The attitudes of all is positive, friendly and receptive, nothing is every too much. A huge thanks to Denise, Leigh, Louise, Charlotte and the rest of the team, x x x

I went in looking for a change of style & not really knowing exactly what I wanted. Lorraine was great, she talked through her ideas & I felt very confident in her. And the cut was brilliant, a real change. I don’t live in Aberdeen but will definitely go back if I get the chance to again.

All of the staff at Hatstandnelly are friendly and professional. From Denise welcoming you as you go in, to Megan looking after me and being honest about what my hair needs, to Abbie, Brook, etc washing my hair and getting my cappuccino. Megan is great at colour (so is Abbie). I always enjoy my visit for the relaxation time, catching up on reading, great chat and the hairstyling too.

Absolutely amazing experience from start to finish. Cheryl is a lovely and professional stylist, I had no idea what I wanted when I arrived at the salon and she managed to create the perfect hair up, checking if I was happy with it as she went. Cheryl was happy, chatty and enthusiastic throughout and I couldn’t be happier with the whole experience. Thank you!!

I always enjoy my appointments with Charlotte. She is always careful to talk through what I want before she starts which has not been my experience elsewhere. She’s happy to advise when I ask but I always feel listened to. I’m delighted with my colour and the cut and as I’ve told her I’ve had lots of people talk about the improvement in my hair since she’s been doing it. The salon is great all the staff are friendly and I really value the reminder messages.

As always a great service, made to feel welcome from the moment you arrive until you leave, Louise works wonders every visit!

10 years I've been attending HatStand Nelly and I wouldn't go anywhere else! Not only do the girls always have great attitude and make you feel welcome they also are honest with their opinions even if it means I would be paying less for the treatment! Would highly recommend this salon.

Absolute delight as always. My son Theo and daughter Emily love getting their haircut here. We have recently moved further from the salon but are happy to travel the extra little bit of distance for such a welcoming and friendly place not to mention a hair style we are happy with, ????????

Excellent service. The stylist was very friendly and helpful. She listened carefully to what I wanted. The colour looks excellent and the cut is equally good. Everything ran very smoothly. After many bad experiences, I've finally found a place that styles my hair in the way that I want it to be. I'm super impressed. I'll certainly be back.

Rebecca was able to get my hair from bright purple to a beautiful golden blonde in the space of a few months, she totally made me feel at ease with this process and was 100% transparent and honest with me about the results, she is so talented and a fantastic hairdresser, she's also great craic too!
