The Granite Spa

I booked a gel manicure & pedicure before a holiday, which turned out to be a very painful experience. Whilst she was vigorously buffing the nail bed, she was very careless and buffed the cuticles/skin around nails to the point of drawing blood on three toes.  The big toe was the worst and it bled for some time before it stopped, all the while my toes were stinging. As a result of this my toes were sore and inflamed all during my holiday and looked awful. The actual finish of the gel polish was poor and uneven.
The therapist (whom I will not name) was unapologetic and not particularly bothered. I complained to the manager who apologised but would not entertain any form of partial refund or any goodwill gesture. I would never recommend the granite spa to anyone and will not return, neither will any of my friends, family or colleagues. They are lucky I’m not claiming damages. There are no excuses.

My first time of such an experience. My daughter and I went for the 2 hour spa and treatments. What a lovely relaxing time we had. The back and shoulder massage was fantastic and I had never had an Indian head massage before - Claire was brilliant, it was just what I needed to clear the head.

I’ve been a customer of Granite Spa for almost 2 years. I was booked in for a nail appointment today. They changed my beauty therapist without telling me. I’d booked in for BIAB removal and reapply. Therapist advised they didn’t need removed just infilled and my nails are fine but £75! Really! I’m disappointed after being a loyal customer I wasn’t even told they were changing who was taking my appointment and to charge that much. I’m really upset. I have to budget like everyone else these days and I just can’t understand why it cost so much. I won’t be going back. Feel really let down.

Firstly I would like to say how accommodating Granite Spa have been with Rescheduling appointments for me and my family with this uncertainty during theses Covid times
They have been so kind and understanding with a professional manner.
Todays treatment with Jaymie was excellent. She made me feel at ease while getting waxed and ended up have a few laughs. Jaymie is very good at her job and I have had many different treatments with her. All of the staff are very nice professional and caring. If you haven’t been to Granite Spa please put it on your Santa list.

Fabulous place!! Iv been a few times now and great service every time. Kristi really listens to what you want and very professional. All the girls make you feel very welcome. Making it a lovely atmosphere to feel relaxed. Would absolutely recommend to anyone.

Amazing 3 hour spa day with 2 hour treatments. Very professional therapists and good value for money.
The only downfall is the treatment room should be in a quiet area as it was hard to relax with all the noise from passing staff/customers walking past. Found it very loud while we were trying to wind down during the facial/massage - although i did fall asleep towards the end thanks to the amazing therapist!

I had a wonderful massage from Kirsti. I have problems with tendonitis in my shoulder and it felt a lot better afterwards. I felt extremely relaxed

A classy decorated beauty salon. Tucked away in Grandholm. Easy to find with nearby parking.
We booked only Half an hour on a whim. Only took 15-20 minutes drive, using google maps, from Queens Road So do not let the location put you off!!
A warm welcome, good standard of a health and safety questionnaire. High covid safety precautions.
We ( my daughter and I ) had a twin massage.
The beds were warm and hygienic.
Our hot stone massage was just what the doctor ordered. We were made to feel welcome and relaxed. The girls ( apologies I forgot their names ) were professional and gave us a super massage. As Arnie says. We will be back.
We left feeling super rejuvenated.

I took my mum here for a little pamper. My mum has mobility issues and I was worried about leaving her whilst I had my treatment, but they were so kind and caring with my mum that I had no need to worry. My mum loved her manicure and luxury pedi , she couldn’t stop talking about it after. Thanks for taking good care of my mum xx

Me and friend came for the spa day, had the most amazing day from start to finish, felt so welcome from the minute I walked in always very accommodating & making sure that we had everything we needed. The treatments was amazing and very relaxing. Definitely will be back for the spa treatments again as it was so relaxing & feel amazing afterwards. All staff was really nice & had a good laugh with them aswell as them being super professional thank you for making our experience great

I frequent GraniteSpa on a regular basis since they opened this year.
As I can’t book in advance so I use the “squeeze me in “section on the app so can’t always get my regular beautician but that gives me the opportunity to give you my views on the rest of the team:-
I find them friendly, helpful, professional & now gelling together as a team ? willing to learn from each other which makes our experience more enjoyable.?‍♀️

I booked a last minute massage the day before my wedding to de-stress and it was UNREAL! I work out a lot and get really bad muscle aches and knots but my massage completely eased all of my tension.

I came back with my sister in laws to have a spa day and we made use of the hot tubs and each got a treatment after and honestly the massage was just as good!! Luckily I had the same masseuse as before which was a bonus!

I did ask for her name but I cant remember however she was lovely, average height, dark hair with a European accent. I will definitely be back again!

I wasn't sure what treatment to go for, so after some advice based on how I wanted to feel afterwards, I went for a hot stone massage and it was perfect. I can't fault my therapist who was friendly and professional, and made me feel very relaxed. Kerry listened to what I wanted and delivered exactly that, and I left feeling amazing. Will definitely be going back.

This was my 1st visit to Granite Spa and I selected a treatment I've never had before - Himalayan Salt full body treatment. It was wonderful. The spa is welcoming, friendly and very professional. The relaxing atmosphere and music was just what I needed.

3hrs of pure bliss. An hour of hot tub and sauna followed by an hour of body massage and facial. So relaxing would definitely go back!

I absolutely enjoyed my exfoliation and massage defiently felt lighter leaving the salon and looking forward to going back for a facial. Jamie was friendly and listened to my needs which and me feel super relaxed throughout the treatment. Thank you!

First time at Granite Spa, Kerry was lovely and so easy to chat too. I was given a tour of the salon and couldn’t believe all there was to offer especially the hot tubs and sauna room, will definitely be back?

This is the second time I have been at the spa I’m definitely not disappointed with the quality of the treatments. Alex was amazing and after the treatment it was like floating on a cloud. Very relaxing and I would highly recommend this place.

The best massage ever. I usually have to remind my massuese throughout the massage about the pressure I prefer but Kerry was so consistent and amazing, I tried so hard not to fall asleep! When I got up I felt like I was walking on a cloud. Definitely coming back. Kerry was fantastic.

Me and my sister-in-law has been looking for a while to get a spa day booked and I’m so glad we found Granite spa! From the minute we arrived all staff were welcoming and tentative and the treatments we had were so relaxing, we loved having some time in the hot tub and sauna beforehand so we could yap! Being a first time client at Granite Spa, I was incredibly impressed by the professionalism and friendliness of the staff. The atmosphere was calming and immediately made me feel relaxed. I had my nails done by Angela who was attentive, kind and thanks to her, my nails are perfect.
