The girl that did my pedicure was lovely and chatty, I didn’t like the initial grating of the dry skin it was really sore, I’ve had it done before but my feet were damp, my feet were dry when done in salon. I also felt the salon was quite dirty, won’t be back

Definitely does what it says in the description. Felt like I'd had much more rest than 90 minutes! Staff are very friendly and attentive, facilities clean and welcoming. A voucher would make a very special gift for someone who needs some time out
I really enjoyed my time in the floatarium. The lady took her time to talk me through all the stages and hat to expect. I enjoyed relaxing and Will definitely go back. Before I got it o did notice quite a few black hairs floating around which I removed before entering. It made me feel a little uneasy but I am quite OCD with things like this the high salt content in the water put me at ease. The experience was good overall and I will definitely go back again.

Would highly recommend the floatarium and massage -great chill out session . Floating in minerals when it’s so cold outside -Followed by full gentle massage.

I have had two different pedicures at this salon. The fruit-acid callous peel pedicure is amazing; leaving one's feet complete free of hard skin in a lovely smooth condition
I have also enjoyed the more traditional spa type pedicure which was a very relaxing experience with all hard skin removed coupled with cuticle treatment and nail shaping.
I would highly recommend this salon. The staff are very nice.

Great visit. I have been a few times for a Swedish or Deep Tissue massage but brought my mother also on this occasion for a facial and manicure. She absolutely loved both the treatments and the massage was as good as ever. Lovely staff, particularly kind to my mother who, as I say, was delighted. Thoroughly recommend, many thanks.

Went to The Floatarium today. Welcomed as always with lovely personal service. My partner had a pedicure and manicure and I had a manicure. Attentive and helpful. Huge thanks to Pam, Ronnie and her sister. Great service as always.

I’ve been coming to this Spa for years and it’s wonderful. Nails done today by Brooke great but all the therapists are great. The way Pamela runs her spa you don’t want to leave and you always want to go back.

Kirstie gave me a fabulous Hot Stone Massage that "ironed" out a lot of knots and left me feeling totaly relaxed. I definately recommend this treatment and therapist.
My nails were completely ruined due to frequent hand washing & buckets of hand sanitiser. A quick trip the Floatarium, and they were completely transformed. I am delighted with the results!
I think I last visited the Floatarium sometime in the late '90s and to my shame, I've walked past pretty much every day since then and thought I ought to go back - but haven't. Until yesterday. After nearly 2, years working from home in a bad chair on a too high table, coupled with several years of low level anxiety (teenage kids do that!) and major grief from the unexpected death of my brother - I kick myself for not going sooner.
I felt so safe and nurtured in the floating pool. The lady who explained everything was just lovely - and we agreed we could have chatted for hours. She even took the time to write down some recommendations for me.
Basically, once in the private pool area and the door is locked - you are in your own world. It took me time to stop thinking (especially after I switched off the pool lights and then instantly started worrying if I'd ever find them again!) But wow - having that chance to float gave me the most extraordinary peaceful, time to myself. I don't meditate but I'd say I'm a fairly spiritual person and, once I switched off and the ache in my shoulders and neck stop being my focus, I definitely drifted off.
I then had a wonderful massage from Brooke. She found all my knots and tensions but didn't overwork them. I just felt in very good hands and confident she would respond kindly to anything.
I felt a little emotional afterwards, not surprising if I consider the many hurdles I've dealt with over the last few years. But I think it was because I felt so nurtured, and I needed that.
I will certainly continue to try to be kind to myself and will be back.
I have visited this place 3 times already and definitely my favourite spa in Edinburgh. All staff members are very sweet & friendly. I have tried the manicure & pedicure and the floating experience, all were very relaxing.
My daughter and I booked last minute nails for a wedding. They fitted us in and did a great careful job. We had a lovely time!

I just adore this salon and the staff in it. I tend to get gel nails and the occasional wax. The customer service is great and so is the atmosphere. I always recommend them to people. The Banter is fabulous too, laughter is the best medicine after all. Xx

Pamela was so lovely and helpful when we phoned a couple of days prior wanting to have a wee spa day as part of our Mini Moon and get rid of some post wedding built up stress. We were well recieved and treated phenomenally. We both had great treatments and have left so relaxed and feel we really are on our Mini Moon. Floating in heavily salted warm water in the dark and quiet is so relaxing. The only issue is that the float room is so warm (which it has to be) that it's impossible to get dry afterwards because of the sweat!
