2nd visit to Ishi and both haircuts have been fantastic. Very happy and I highly recommend for gents cut.

Great cut & blow dry as always from Lynne can’t recommend her highly enough.

Chris and his team always make my daughter feel welcome. Any instructions given are taken on board and the end result is always a great hair cut and a happy teenager!

Leigh was very welcoming from arrival and there was a lovely atmosphere in the salon. I’m really pleased with the outcome of my hair, I wasn’t 100% sure what I wanted or what to expect but I’ve left with lighter, healthier looking hair when I arrived with black damaged hair.

Leigh has been very friendly, kind and helpful during the entire process she really takes the time to discuss with me how I want my hair to look like and confirm with me in each step she’s going to perform. I feel comfortable and rest assured in professional hands. The only slight drawback is I should have done the color allergy test before opting for a full head permanent color because one of the main reasons for me to go to a salon is to have my roots dyed. Will probably pop in soon to have my roots touched up!

Love my haircut. Chris did a great job. Washed gently by a considerate apprentice which I appreciated and wrapped carefully without roughing my hair or getting my top wet. My hair is curly so not easy to comb through but it was treated with care so as not to stress it out further. Really felt the benefit of this approach as hairdressers can sometimes be a bit rough on my hair dealing with tugs while trying to do this part of their job quickly. Everything was done gently, with care, I didn't have a sore scalp afterwards and the results looked great ? All hairdressers should work like this, gently to reduce hair and scalp stress. Really impressed. Thank you Chris and team. Actually I think you should advertise that you take a gentle approach- less stresses for your tresses ?

I arrived unsure of what I wanted and left with a beautiful style suited to me that lasted all night not!

I “stumbled” upon Ishi while looking for a really good hairdresser in Edinburgh and I was delighted with my find, in more ways than one! The salon is attractive and welcoming and the attention from Chris was second to none. I will be back!

Took photo into Chris and he cut my hair exactly as I had described. He also put a toner through my hair to lift my highlights. Delighted with the result.

Chris is awesome. I can be always rely on him for a great cut. He seems to know exactly what shape and style I’m looking for, even when I’m not sure how to describe it!
