Sonia is the only person who understands my hair! She is fantastic with kids too. Fabulous hairdresser. The salon is all set up for meeting the Government guidelines: clean, plenty of space, and full PPE!

I had an excellent experience having my long awaited haircut. The salon adhered to all the safety protocols required and the staff were cheery and efficient. My hair is beautifully coloured and styled and has definitely given me a lift. An experience well worth having I’ll be back.

Bless these girls... it’s the middle of a global pandemic, they are working in full PPE (visors, facemasks, aprons... the lot), cleaning rigorously between each client and they still welcome you with warm words and beaming smiles (you can tell from their eyes). I’m in awe of them and what they’re doing under such extreme circumstances. They welcomed me back with open arms (from a distance) and worked so very hard to make all their clients feel relaxed at all times. Covid is taken seriously here and I could not have felt safer but the atmosphere is still lovely, friendly and in no way clinical. AND they are only charging a £2 PPE surcharge. Not enough in my opinion.
Oh and I love my cut and colour too. Thank you Kerry and Lucy for indulging me! ❤️

I had a great haircut at McLaren Ross. Having not had my hair done since last year (lockdown thwarted my plans to get it cut in April) I was torn between going for a dramatic change or keeping it almost the way it was and Sonia managed to help me get to a healthy compromise that I'm absolutely ecstatic with. My head feels lighter, the scraggly end bits are history, and the whole experience was professional, friendly and comfortable from start to finish. Amy greeted me and washed my hair, and was super polite the while time, and Sonia was chatty throughout, making sure to talk me through exactly what she was doing. Not only did she talk to me, but actually paid attention to what I was saying, which made it even nicer! I was looking for a new hairdresser after a recent house move and I think I've found her!
Sonia was amazing... She chopped all my hair off and I've been completely transformed into a new person... She is amazing!
