After having the same hairdresser for nearly 10 years until I moved to Edinburgh going somewhere new was quite nerve wracking. When I had a consult, Kat understood this and really took the time to talk through what she was doing and what we were aiming for. She also helped find a time to come in when the salon was quieter than usual which was ideal.

We decided that as I hadn't had my hair coloured in nearly a year the time was right to go in a new direction and go blonde. This is not a short process but we had great chat, cups of tea and a lovely playlist.

I couldn't be happier with the results - a fresh new look for me and a new regular for Kat.

I loved my colour but feel that the price of the conditioning treatment should perhaps be highlighted prior to application. I did not ask how much it would be but it was certainly more than I anticipated.
I was also a little bit disappointed that my hair did not get cut, even at the ends. I wrongly assumed that a trim came with the blow dry as I felt it was a bit pricey for just being dried.
This being said, the staff were very nice and Nicola was very knowledgable about the colour and gave excellent advice.

I absolutely love the way Chloe cut my hair today! I’m not always the best at communicating what I want, but she quickly saw my vision and hit the nail on the head! I left with fun bouncy layers and MUCH healthier-looking hair. So glad to find a great local stylist, and I’ll definitely be coming back!

After not getting a professional haircut since January 2020, my hair was in need of some pampering. I am so happy with the results, Chloe took so much care to make sure I got the hairstyle I wanted and my hair feels so much lighter and healthier now. Looking forward to my next hair appointment!

Kat and the team at Medusa are just brilliant. They listen to what you want and execute it beautifully.

I love my hair these days after so long of never being happy with it. Nicola knows my hair, curly or straight and cuts it for both. Frequently I have found stylists don't cut for my natural curl but not this time, she knows my hair. I can style it easily and she always gives me tips on what to do to change it up. So happy!

I was happy with my hair however I got a balayage colour which I was told would be £100 and when I went to pay it was £126. They charged me for a blow dry as well. I asked was this a mistake as I would assume the blowdry should be included but no, they said this is policy.

First time coming here and enjoyed my experience and absolutely love my haircut. Nicola matched what I wanted my hair to look like and it looks better than I imagined.

Wonderful!!! Always love coming to Medusa. Team are so welcoming and very professional. I have highlights done the same way every time and a trim by kat and she is spot on, and so lovely. The lady in the next chair even complimented my hair afterwards haha!! Thanks guys xxx
