Wanted a refresh style, but still easy to maintain. Fraser listened to what I asked for, really happy with the result

My 5 years old daughter always like to get her haircut from Dion.
Dion is so experienced, she knows what she’s doing. I’ll definitely be going there again for my daughter and for myself too.

I've been a client at Medusa Teviot Place for years, and Kate is the best stylist I've had there. She always does a great job of cutting my thick, curly hair. She is warm and friendly, I always enjoy out travel chats!

Fraser knows what I want and does an amazing job with my colour and cut. His staff are very friendly and helpful.

Initially when I emailed the Salon I got a very short non detailed response from ***** asking me to come in to talk through what I wanted. His email left little to be desired but in person he was friendly and understanding and put my mind at ease. He then booked me in with *****.
I was nervous about getting my hair dyed and I tried my best to explain what I wanted. When ***** walked away I saw her look at a female colleague and look at me and roll her eyes when she walked to get the colour downstairs - the Salon is covered in mirrors, your customers can see you.
I had asked for a balayage hair with a prominent orange streak at one side and showed ***** images of how I wanted it to look.
What I had specifically asked was that you would see my natural hair colour at the top and for it to get lighter at the ends but for the orange streak to start at the roots. I said the blonde should be warm and surfer chic.
What I got was blonde cold hair almost grey starting nearly at the roots - making it look like I had simply died my hair blonde and it had grown in. The ginger streak colour was excellent but did not start at the root. I'm not sure if I got charged for the blow dry but I was just sat under the heater and there was no styling or blow dry just left till my hair dried naturally. ***** was only excited or showed any interest when the orange streak colour was developing as I doubt she gets to use such vibrant colour that often.
Overall I was made to feel unwelcome and as though I was a nuisance to the team not a customer who was paying a lot of money for their services. I went to the Salon because they have won awards and looked as though they would understand my quirky request.
I panicked when asked if I liked my hair and said yes but in reality it's not at all what I asked for.

I'm always really pleased with Poppy, she gave me the best haircut I've ever had in August last year and I always go back to her to maintain it. She's really friendly and great at her job.

Absolutely fabulous! A truly wonderful experience! And the icing on the cake is that my hair looks and feels terrific!

Overall it was a wonderful experience. I got beautiful caramel balayage. Lucy was really sweet and nice. She knew exactly what I wanted and I was very happy with the final result.
It was a bit pricey though, even with the student discount.

Always have a great cut and colour here. Fraser always lets me decide on the colour and I trust him not to let me go to far out. My cut is always beautiful and I go away feeling really good

I was really happy with how Lucy highlighted and styled my hair and how she listened to me and what I wanted. However, I did feel a bit out of place in the salon and the assistant washing my hair seemed to want to soak my whole face but I’m sure that will come with experience. Overall, I’m happy with the colour and cut I received and will come back.

I asked for a simple haircut and was amazing!

I was squeezed in last minute for a wash and blow dry. Loved the salon. Dion did a brilliant job. Loved the results. Will definetely be back.

The length the hair was cut to was fine, and it looked shiny and healthy at the end. However, I was given a side fringe, which I did not ask for - I hate fringes. It wasn't a nice sweeping side fringe, it was as though my mum had tried to give me a fringe - a giant chunk was cut from one side of my parting, but not the other side, and not shaped at all. The overall experience was fine, but I now have to wait for this "fringe" to grow out, and am using a stupid amount of hairspray each day to try to make it look nice.
