Everyone was very attentive from start to finish and Fraser did my hair exactly how i wanted - short, light and simple. I am really happy and ready for summer.

Really happy with the service throughout and the final outcome was much better than I had hoped for. Highlights turned out blonde with no brass tones

It's always a pleasure to visit Medusa on Teviot Place. I've been a regular for around 5 years and the service has always been first-class.

What a lovely, friendly and talented young man. He took care and paid attention to detail when colouring and cutting my hair. Both the colour and cut were excellent and I am delighted with the result. Felt like a new person when I left the shop. Have already re-booked with Fraser. Fraser is an amazing with Hair cuts! Gives a cut that suits you .. very quick at understanding what you need and what will suit your face . I would recommend that if you have not tried Medusa, please please give it a try... worth a visit and worth a hair cut .. Fraser does magic to hair with so much patience and perfection...

Such a great service this morning at Medusa! Zara was lovely and knew exactly what I wanted from my description. My hair was bleached blondes with dark roots growing out and Zara has returned it back to its natural self with some balayage too! I love it thanks so much!

My stylist was Zara but I just want to be clear this review is NOT about Zara. I received solid service from Zara and the woman who cut my hair. I love my colour and cut.

The disappointment comes from when I went downstairs with the girl who shampooed my hair (long brown hair). The entire time she was checking her Apple Watch, not paying attention to what she was doing. It was the worst shampoo job I’ve ever had. Felt like very little of my colour had been washed out, no head pressure. 3sec head massage. All in all, there was zero effort put in. After a year of lockdown and not being able to go to the salon, I would have thought she would have been a bit more focused on her job. Honestly, it spoiled the appointment. This person needs to be told that the client can tell that she doesn’t care. I hope the next person receives more attention/ thorough care than I did.

So in love with my hair! Had the loveliest experience and definitely coming again, it gave me the confidence boost I needed x

Strayed away from Fraser doing my hair and since have had many horrendous experiences. Returned today and I won’t stray again. I left the salon today happy and confident with my new hair do! Thanks Fraser!

My stylist was called Eilidh and I’ve had blonde highlights the majority of my life and these are just what I’m used to and like, beautiful blonde and my stylist toned it to a fab warm blonde to my request. When I get a full head of highlights I’m used to sitting there for hours sooo bored but my stylist was lovley chatty and super fun to talk to. Amazing salon and a really good first trip and will deffo b returning, so grateful for the student discount. It’s a great Salon and eilidh was fab!

Laura was absolutely lovely and so warm and personable! I left feeling so much better than I did when I entered. I love the products she used on my hair and purchased a number of her recommendations. My hair is soft, cute, and it’s exactly what I wanted!

This is the first cut and blow-dry I have had in over a year. From the moment I arrived, I felt confident and safe with all of the safety measures and precautions. The cut and blow-dry experience itself was also fantastic. My stylist, Zara, took the time to ask and clarify what I wanted and offered helpful tweaks to my original idea. The cut turned out even better than I thought and I am so glad I made the appointment. I cannot recommend Medusa, and Zara, enough. Thank-you.

I had balayage and a cut from Zara who did an amazing job! She was friendly and knowledgable and my hair looks great, would definitely recommend to any blondes to get their hair done here, really lovely service at a good price too.

Felt really really welcome and was accommodated from the start, despite messing up on my part with the booking. My stylist was very open about having to try something new as what I’d asked for wasn’t something shed done before but she managed amazingly and remained confident and professional throughout. Also this was the first haircut Ive had where my curly hair was properly taken into account and was looked after the same way I would choose to - which is very uncommon. Thank you for a great experience!

I hadn’t had my hair cut in a very, very long time so it needed a lot of TLC. Kate was not daunted by my hair but was excited to breathe new life in to it and style it how I wanted (shorter and choppy with curtain bangs). She was fast, efficient, asked me how I liked it as she went and was obviously skilled at her job. She was great company and a true professional. I’m very happy with the result. I’ve already booked my next appointment.
