I came in needing a big colour correction job and both Georgia and Ryan made me feel so comfortable from the start.
They made my colour into the colour I dreamt of being and I love my colour so much now!

I was a little apprehensive about sitting in a busy salon for hours with everything that has happened of late. But Ellen’s team quickly made me feel at ease, with professional attention to extra hygiene measures, such as hand sanitiser, extra space between clients, and having the aircon on so that it never felt too stuffy sitting with a mask on! Hannah was particularly switched on when it came to making sure I was comfortable in these new conditions! A fab cut and colour definitely left me feeling very happy to have got rid of my lockdown hair! Thank you Hannah and the team!

Maxine was wonderful ( as are all the staff at ECH). Listened to what I wanted and kept checking all was ok. Great chat. Brilliant haircut and colour. Everyone so professional and welcoming. My first visit post Covid and felt very safe with new procedures.

As a new client I was very apprehensive about going into the salon, however I needn’t have worried, from the minute I entered the Salon I was made to feel very welcome . The Salon is well equipped and safely laid out to deal with the current coronavirus pandemic .
My stylist Katy was very knowledgeable and made me feel at ease very quickly . I had an idea of what style and colour I wanted , however after a discussion with Ellen and Katy , I left it to the experts and I was absolutely delighted with the result and looking forward to my next visit to the salon in September .

Young Ryan used to cut my hair 6 year’s ago in Rothesay I’ve finally coy up with him I had my hair cut and styled the best I’ve had in years the whole experience is amazing I will definitely be back Thank you Ryan and as I said Ellen what a catch in having Ryan x

Went here for my first post-lockdown haircut. I wanted bangs and explained I don’t want to have to blow dry or spend time on my hair. Katy was great and suggested a lower maintainable style that would still give me volume and shape around my face. She was very attentive to what I was looking for and expert with the scissors! Absolutely delighted with the result! Thank you :) Also, Lorraine did my brows exactly how I wanted and was lovely too. I’ll definitely be back!

Lovely experience from start to finish. I felt very welcomed when I arrived at the salon, such a friendly team.
With regards to the current pandemic; I felt so safe in the immaculate salon - safety measures put in place are great.

My stylist Maxine is the best stylist I’ve ever had.
Maxine took her time to talk me through a better cut for my thick curly mane while listening to what I wanted.

Maxine is so passionate about her work it’s a joy to listen. She shared many tips to keep my hair in tip top condition between salon visits which I can’t wait to try out.
The head massage during the wash has to be mentioned - just woaw!
...and the final results - better than I could ever imagine - I love my hair again.

I’m over the moon with my cut and feel like a brand new woman. It’s amazing what a good haircut can do to your confidence!

Someone recommended Ryan to me and he didn’t disappoint. He was brilliant from start to finish: made me feel comfortable straight away and was so easy to talk to. When he started to cut my hair I knew I was in the hands of an expert. I haven’t had such a meticulous and thorough haircut in 20+ years! He took his time and did a quality job and I was delighted with the end result. He has obviously developed excellent skills over the years and is still willing to make the effort. I’ve had haircuts in other expensive salons that reveal their shoddiness in the following days after being hidden by the blow dry. Thank you Ryan. You have restored my faith in getting my hair cut. I can now look forward to my next one!

I had an emergency situation with my colour after lockdown. ? Maxine was a wizard with the colour and really sorted me out. She is very knowledgable and I really felt I was in safe hands. The other girls were really helpful too. All in all a great experience.

I won a cut and colour in this salon and although I couldn’t get the colour, the cut was lovely.
Sorry I’ve forgotten the stylist name it was the girl with the two toned lovely hair.
She was lovely very engaging, polite and asking what I wanted etc: I was made to feel just like a paying customer and that speaks volumes about the staff.
I wouldn’t hesitate to come back here as a paying customer as I felt the staff and salon were very friendly and professional.

I've never been to a salon where from the moment you arrive everyone is so welcoming. The entire team had such a positive attitude, making for a fantastic atmosphere and, taking away any nerves about being in a salon during these strange times.

Katy works magic. She listened to what I would like, spoke through what she was doing and gave me the most beautiful hair. I couldn't be happier, thank you Katie!! I already can't wait to come back again, ECH outshines any other salon I've ever visited before.

My two daughters had lovely haircuts, and left feeling like princesses!
I had my eyebrows shaped and tinted, and the therapist was extremely helpful (brows were in bad shape!).

Just love visiting Ellen Conlin hair and beauty which is an oasis of calm and luxury, every time. Fabulous little, but special, touches like your name written on the mirror to welcome you and an amazing head massage make the experience really unique. It’s also the best blow dry in town (by all the talented stylists). and I’m so pleased with my French manicure.

I simply couldn’t recommend it more! ❤️

I was nervous going a) as a newbie customer and b) due to Covid, but everyone was so lovely and the atmosphere was so welcoming, I felt completely at ease.
Maxine has completely transformed my hair! She is a real artist, and I am so so happy with my style. She is also really friendly and funny.

Felt very welcomed by all members of staff. Very happy with service as stylists listened to what I wanted and delivered perfect result.

After months of being at home we were ready to get our 'lockdown locks' tended to. Like everyone, we were anxious about how the salon was going to operate with the new rules, so it was reassuring to see regular updates from the team at ECH via social media. This was also a big help in being able to show our children how the stylists were going to look in their PPE gear (a look which they all totally rocked!). On the day of our much longed for post-lockdown appointment the whole team at the salon were as welcoming and professional as always. Great care has been taken to ensure the safety of everyone whilst at the salon, without taking away the pleasure of having your hair cut by this talented bunch. Many thanks to Ellen and Ryan for making our hair look fabulous once again!

Got my hair done earlier today by Hannah and was done perfectly. Hannah dyed my hair and shaved the sides and back & would definitely go back for her service again. I would overall 100% strongly recommend coming here for anything hair or beauty related as their services are excellent with professional and friendly staff. The whole place was clean and tidy and I was taken on time as usual. No complaints at all, 5 star service.

Hannah cut & styled my hair so well & was such a lovely person. First time in a long time I have left a hairdressers feeling happy.

As usual impeccable! Pleasantly calm. I know you have to be busy to survive but it was actually nice not to be in the usual hustle and bustle of the salon.

I’ve been going to this salon for years and i always get thee best colour, alongside a brilliant in salon experience.
This time was my first appointment with Hannah. I’ve just had the best haircut and colour of my life! Aside from the usual perfect service (you will never start your appointment late, and the attentiveness of the staff goes the extra mile), Hannah’s expertise was brilliant. My colour is amazing, everyone is complimenting me... but Hannah took so much time over my cut, and has cut it into the perfect bob!

I was a bit unsure of whether getting my hair done would still be the enjoyable experience it used to be post lockdown. I had a great few hours on Friday afternoon getting my balayage sorted out - the vibe in the salon was great and it’s so nice to have a bit of normality again. I hadn’t been in ECH for about 7 or 8 years but it was my first choice after recently moving back from Cheshire.
Katy was excellent and my balayage is excellent and took into account my auburn root colour which I’m glad I kept! See you all soon!

From the moment I walked through the door I was made to feel very welcome. The receptionist and stylist talked me through all the salon hygiene. I had a double consultation which I’ve never had before, this is standard in the salon. I wasn’t quite happy with my toner so Hannah quickly remedied this, bearing in mind this was my first visit to the salon and she didn’t know me or my hair. Hannah asked me everything about my hair from how I liked to wear it, to products I like having in my hair. I was also given a choice as to how I wanted it styled from straight to curls! Given that this is the first time my hair has been done in 4 months and my roots were very dark, she absolutely packed the highlights in and they were placed so close to the root. Hannah put me at ease as soon as I came in, she was interested in me, my job, my family where I lived and it was a very relaxing experience. I loved the buzz of the salon and I felt like a million dollars walking out of there with my shiny new swishy hair!!! Ken on front of house is absolutely fabulous and highly professional! I would highly recommend this salon, I don’t live in Glasgow, googled 5 star hair salons in Glasgow and this was the first one that popped up. I even managed a wee bit of retail therapy in the shopping mecca of Hyndland! Very exciting when you live in Oban! Thank you Team ECH ♥️

I was so excited about getting my extensions re-done. After 14 weeks my hair was looking a bit sorry for itself! My appointment with Maxine was great. The standard of hygiene is always excellent but the salon has introduced the new covid prevention in a very professional but unobtrusive manner, making me feel very safe but still enjoying the experience. As usual, a big thanks to Maxine, i've got my nice long hair back, sooo pleased.

I have been going to the wonderful Ellen Conlin hair and beauty for almost 5 years now and like so many during lockdown my hair was closely resembling a burst couch! Eagerly, I counted down the days until my appointment.
I had been following the salon on social media and have to say how impressed I was by the daily updates and news from Ellen, Ken, Ryan and all the stylists and therapists about the re-opening and of course with it the new PPE regulations and guidelines so I knew exactly what to expect prior to my appointment and I knew I was going to be literally in extremely safe hands.
I wasn’t disappointed. I wore my own mask upon arrival and I was given a fresh one whilst I was seated in the reception. There are also many new stylish and chic additions and features in the salon -the outside is painted a gorgeous Tiffany blue - and I can’t tell you happy and excited I was to be there and be greeted warmly by everyone there.
As always my name waited for me on the mirror at Ryan’s station as I took my seat, which is such a lovely touch that always makes me smile.
It had been 7 months since my last appointment as I was working in the States from January till March so my colour was desperately needing attention and within minutes my colour and lowlights were applied, followed by a cut and blowdry from the extremely talented and lovely Ryan. I was quite literally transformed into my natural blonde state ;) well if I’m not a natural blonde by birth I certainly left the salon looking like one. Thank you Ellen, Ken and Ryan and all the staff at Ellen Conlin hair and beauty for making my first appointment back so special and for my wonderful cut and colour. You are all legends! Thank you!
