Fantastic haircut, thank you so much!
Where do i begin, what an absolute disappointment! As a treat for my daughter, I arranged a re-style cut and blow dry. I had read really good reviews and was therefore confident he would do a good job, i was ever so wrong!
My daughter who has long thick hair, was attended to by the stylist at 9.40 and back out on the street at 10.12, with hair that had essentially just been trimmed, then blasted with a hairdryer and covered in oil, her hair was still wet underneath!!
For the pleasure, it cost £90, I have no issue paying a good price for a good service, but oh dear, this was shocking!!
People may wonder why pay and leave if you are so unhappy, but remember hairdresser's can be a very intimidating setting to be in, so it's not always easy to say anything. Morally the stylist must know the service given was well below average and it's just not right.
I did phone the salon to advise if the situation, but honestly, they don't care and I know i would have a fight on my hands taking it any further
Word of warning, make sure you get the service you pay for and if you don't....say something before you pay.
Suffice to say we shall not return and I honestly advise anyone to look beyond the nice front of the salon before booking with anyone.
Off to look for another hairdresser to give my daughter the haircut and experience she should have had. Worked it out at £3.60 a minute for the poorest result!!!!

During my visit to town, I decided to check if TF had an opening for a haircut. Fortunately, they were able to accommodate me. Let me express my utmost satisfaction with Taylor’s exceptional haircut - it was absolutely perfect. I made an impromptu decision to get my hair coloured, guided by the expert team, and John did a fantastic job. Special thanks to Anne, Taylor, John, and the delightful young lady who served me a perfect cup of tea. Thought the experience, I felt like a VIP. Thank you for the wonderful service! Looking forward to my next visit.
Fabulous people, service, value. My first visit to Taylor Ferguson and it won't be my last! After losing all my hair to chemo, I finally had two-years' growth of chemo curly hair that badly needed shape. On my birthday, I took the plunge. I explained I wanted to keep it as curly as possible. Taylor looked at the photo on my phone of the style I'd like, talked me through it and cut my hair dry. Then John applied colour in various stages, talking me through it all. John rinsed and applied treatments, then styled with several products to help keep the curl in. At no point did anyone try to sell me any products, even though up to ten different ones were used in the process. The end result is FABULOUS! Not one single skoosh of hairspray at the salon or by me and this do has lasted for four days so far. I was at events Friday, Saturday and Sunday and didn't need to do much - a zhuzh with a spritz of plain water and a quick blast with the diffuser. Anne Taylor was lovely, helping me get my jacket off and on, checking on me often. I was in awe of the humble attitudes of these total LEGENDS. Some people say it’s awfie expensive: I think it’s GREAT VALUE. Taylor and Anne opened this salon 47 YEARS AGO - I think that experience is worth paying for. You won’t get a haircut as good as this anywhere else and you certainly won’t get the film star treatment.
Been getting my hair cut by Taylor for 46 years and not once have I been disappointed. Might be a little more expensive on the day but I can leave the salon in the knowledge that my hair will grow and keep its shape over the months ahead. The best value for money ever. Such a lovely person. Just love visiting the salon
Over the moon with my new hairstyle from Taylor Ferguson. A pleasure to watch the man at work. From the minute I entered the salon I was treated with excellent customer service. I had booked in with Taylor who took time to listen and inform of my hair type before getting to work. I can honestly say it was a pleasure to watch and expert at work. I love my new hair.
John and the staff were so friendly and welcoming. I felt 100% attended to with no pushy sales technique.

This was my first visit to Taylor Ferguson Hairdressers and as soon as I arrived the staff were so welcoming and friendly. After a discussion with Taylor and showing him photos on my mobile he new exactly what kind of cut I wanted.

I was so underwhelmed by my visit to this salon . ***** cut my hair , which I like however I was charged 250 pounds having been quoted 165 & junior members of staff did everything else . The salon has no atmosphere, dated surroundings , very poor standard of hair washing.
A very big thank you to Linda and the Taylor Ferguson team for my first set of hair extentions. I had a full consultation before deciding to go ahead; Linda spent a lot of time going over the aftercare during my appointment, encouraging me to call her or pop in if I was struggling. Thankfully I haven't had any problems and I'm loving all this hair! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this salon to anyone looking for a little hair enhancement!
I made an appointment at Taylor Ferguson requesting a cut and colour. I've been busy, so my roots were pretty much at my ears, and, admittedly, my ends needed about two inches cut off.
When I entered the salon, it was pretty quiet, and Taylor greeted me, took my scarf and sat me down to discuss what I wanted. So far, so good. I had my hair quickly shampooed, and sat down for my cut. I had showed Taylor a photograph of a girl with swingy blonde hair, although I had specified it didn't need to be quite as short. "Doesn't it?" was Taylor's response. I bit the bullet and had it cut a little shorter than I originally planned. It's actually a nice cut, it makes my hair feel thick, and full, and it has good movement. As I started on my manicure, the colourist, came and discussed what I wanted in regards to my colour as Taylor looked on. I admit, my roots were down at my ears, but considering this was all virgin, untouched hair I didn't think this would be an issue. I use Kerestase products,
