I had a great experience at Butchers Salon. It has a very relaxing atmosphere, and Jue Jue is a lovely person who really listen to what I wanted and did an excellent cut. I will definitely go back.

As usual Butchers delivered excellent knowledge in unpretentious surroundings. My son and I travelled down from North Yorkshire and will continue to make our haircut pilgrimage! You are all awesome- Matts attention to detail was fantastic and my son loves his haircut. A million thankyous! Xxx

From the moment you arrive to the moment you step out everything is perfect. I had been avoiding a salon for over 4 years because my experiences are always so horrible. I finally found my favourite place and stylist! It took me over 40 years but I'm just grateful this place exist. Everyone is kind and patient, everything is organic and eco friendly, everyone in relaxed and the music is low and chill. From the receptionist to the amazing lady who gave me a shoulder massage as I waited, to the brilliant and empathic Jem (my stylist who gave me the best haircut I have ever had) I was blown away. Everyone gives you care and attention, a cup of tea in a beautiful mug, just the way you like it, no waiting, attentive service with a smile throughout. Jem listened to me carefully and fully understood what I wanted, she is an incredibly empathic talented professional. Highly recommend this place, so glad it exists! Well done gang.

for the first time in basically forever, I got a haircut that actually suits me and I am obsessed with!! The staff is super friendly, the music is good, the salon looks cool as hell and they’re super organized. definitely coming back !!

I was very grateful that Butchers could accomodate me on short notice, with both a consulation and appointment. The service was very good, but I did not realize how long it would be! Overall, however, very pleased with the result.

Paul gave me a perfect haircut. It was the first time I met him, but he was able to understand exactly what I wanted and got precisely the texture of my curly hair!

I’m very happy with the haircut I got this morning with Jem, she helped me figure out which style to go for with good questions and really understood what I was after, I love the result and will definitely book with her again.
The experience in the salon was relaxing, with a lot of care for the customer (head and shoulders massage, offer of a drink, checking in multiple times on comfort)

Really great understanding of curly hair and actually knows how to style it so that the curls fall nicely she without frizz. And the cut even grows out nicely! Plus he's super nice and cool

Maylis was very kind and patient throughout the process of deciding what to do with my hair. I have never coloured my hair before, and I knew very little about the process (basically nothing). I also was ignorant on what I was supposed to bring to the consultation, and Maylis helped me through how to decide what I wanted. I wanted something subtle, and a couple shade lighter than my natural colour. I also didn't want any stark highlights against my dark hair colour. She showed me photos on her phone of hair colours and we discussed for about 30 minutes what I wanted.

Then, I came back two weeks later for the colour session. It took about 4 hours (I have a lot of hair). Throughout this time, Maylis and other staff members were very professional and kind. I had a great chat with Maylis as she put on the foil, and it made the time fly by. Then, the trainee who added the toner was also very nice and we chatted about what the toner does. She did an excellent job under Maylis' wing. The trainee also provided an amazing temple massage after she rinsed out the toner.

The results were exactly what I wanted and at a reasonable cost. The entire experience went flawlessly. I am very eager to come back to the salon to continue on my hair journey in a couple of months. Maylis is a gem!

I visited Butchers Salon on 16 Feb for dimensional highlights with Paul and was delighted with the result. Home colouring had created something of a mess which Paul was able to magically resolve with his usual skill. The colour botanical repair left my hair in better condition and the shade was just what I wanted. Paul cleverly created depth, tone and shine by expert colour selection and placement of the foils. Pretty impressive stuff.
It was my first visit to this particular salon and it was really enjoyable to be there. The reception team were very welcoming and the space itself is comfortable and well thought out, feeling surprisingly cosy given how spacious it is. Of course, it smells amazing.
The supporting stylists were wonderful and I was especially impressed by the member of the team who applied the toner to my highlights ? In many salons I have found this can be a slap it on and leave it affair but even though we were fast approaching salon close time, my guy painstaking sectioned the hair and applied the toner with a brush!
Alongside the technical expertise, the level of care and attention to detail in the salon are first rate. I would highly recommend a visit. See you there ?

The complementary massage was great and immediately created a comfortable atmosphere. Lena communicated well and helped me understand how she would approach my chosen haircut. She was very efficient, focused, and intuitive. I will definitely see her again when I next need a haircut.

Best treatment and a perfect haircut

Had the best experience today, thanks to Judy and Georgie. I haven't felt this relaxed in a while (great massage by Georgie) and I am so happy with my haircut (fantastic job by Judy, who took the time to really define my curls and make sure the haircut framed my face nicely). I can only recommend it, especially for curly hair!

I love my visits to this relaxed and friendly salon. Fotis is exceptionally good at cutting and styling. I have an abundance of hair which can be difficult, but he always creates a style that works with it perfectly and which I can also recreate at home. Highly recommend.
