TONI&GUY Crouch End

i had heard good things about Toni and Guy so decided to book a cut and blow dry. From making the appointment to being introduced to the young woman who washed my hair to Reginne who undertook the cut and blow dry, I could not have been more pleased. My wonderful chat with Reginne was an absolute delight, it really made my day. Thank you so much to both of you for making me feel special.

I took my sister here to get her hair cut for her birthday. We have both been to other branches and had lovley experiences. This time my sister brought a picture and explained she’s trying to grow her hair out but the shape right now is not what she wanted. She showed her the picture and said that this is the shape that she wanted. The stylist abruptly said, her hair is too straight and it wouldn’t work on her. She said she would take some length off. And cut into the layers to change the shape and make it less round. The rest of the cut was silent. I asked to sit with them and she ignored me twice then said yes. Every time I spoke to cut into the silence she would scrunch up her face and stop cutting. She would talk to other stylists and not even look as she cut the hair. At one point a customer came in the speak to the gentleman at the desk then left. She then asked if it was hopefully a cancellation cause she wanted to get out of there.
-we were not offered a drink
-The cut was not what my sister asked for
-the chair and the comb were covered in short grey hairs from the client before.
- my sister was clearly holding back tears as she hated her hair
- there was no attempt at making her feel comfortable or cutting how she wanted it cut

We ended up going somewhere else and getting it re cut. Won’t be returning

Had a fabulous haircut end of August, the stylist looked at the picture and she delivered.
I came back a different stylist , looked at the same picture and he did something else, terribly executed.

Jo in crouch end has been cutting & colouring my hair since the start of this year. I go in looking like I’ve been dragged through a hedge backwards but I leave with the most amazing hair. She colours it so well and goes above and beyond with the cut too.

Would really recommend Jo ⭐️

The best experience ever, never been here before and it was a perfect service. Talented team that go that extra mile. So happy with my hair and loved the team x x ill be back soon!!!

Not the service I expect from Toni & Guy or experienced in any of their other branches.

1- Didn’t wash the existing product out of my hair prior to starting to cut.
2- No wash or rinse at all during the appointment.
3- Didn’t clear the hair from my neck and face until the very end, making it a very uncomfortable sitting.
4- Didn’t cut the style I asked for at the beginning or cut it to the same length leaving patches of longer hair I now need to fix.

Could have gone to any barbers for 1/4 of the price. Won’t be returning to this branch again.

Very happy with my hair and colour

This was the first time getting my hair cut at T&G Crouch End as I had moved cities away from my old hairdresser. Angelo was so lovely, put all my concerns at ease and did a great job! Was a very relaxing hour and I'm looking forward to my next appointment!

I have been visiting Toni & Guy Crouch End for many years, and always rely on Regine for a superb cut and flawless style advice and Chloe for fabulous colour. Having my hair done elsewhere in the past has not always been a happy experience, but I visit these lovely ladies relaxed and confident in the knowledge that I will leave looking restored to my best self.

Delighted with my hair colour and cut today. Chloe and Reginne are lovely and do a wonderful job.

The guy who cut my hair was lovely and friendly, really listened to what I wanted and made helpful suggestions to make sure I got the cut that suited me best. Would definitely recommend!

I had a wash & blow dry by Ylenia who gave me an amazing head massage and took great care with my blow dry which looked exactly as I’d asked for - I will definitely return, thank you.

Just had my hair dyed by the lovely Jo in crouch End. She is so kind, patient and chose the colour which suits me. I am so happy and will go back when it needs doing again. I felt pampered and relaxed. Such a nice, friendly salon. Thank you very much

I probably shouldn't have expected too much from a hair appointment sandwiched between Christmas and New Years. Stylist didn't want to listen to me, and wasn't interested in the pictures that I had brought with me. It's a good cut, but she took off a good 2-3 cm more that I asked for, it looks too short for my face shape, and isn't what I wanted at all. Will look elsewhere for my next cut.

Since having had cancer treatment for nearly a year I gave up on how I looked without hair. After 4 months since chemo my hair had started growing back and was growing in all sorts of weird ways that needed some care. Tbh I didn’t think my hair was worth cutting but when I met Steve I felt he knew exactly what was needed and I am so impressed from the precise cut and attention I received from the beautiful lady at the desk to Steve acknowledging what my partial hair growth needed! I walked out feeling fabulous and looking great! Thank you guys you made my year!

I visited the Crouch End branch recently and booked in with Steve the franchisee. I had been a loyal customer of Vidal Sassoons for more than a decade. I have a phobia of hairdressers and a real knack for putting hairdressers on edge. As soon as I entered the salon Steve greeted me from a far which instantly put me at ease. During my consultation I explained my fear and he was fearless in dealing with me - which I needed. I really liked that he shampooed my hair and also dried it. Quite often in sassoons you are passed between different members of staff for different tasks. Steve was easy to talk to and I really enjoyed the conversation. I always find at the salon that I’m happy with the results but the real test is always going home and washing and styling it myself. For the first time in years I actually felt I like my hair was better after than it was before after styling myself. I am a harsh critic and this was a great cut. I’m looking forward to returning and even feel like returning more than my usual annual cut. Thankyou Steve for your patience and care and attention.

What by washing my hair in cold water and not offering me a drink and leaving me with a junior and my hair not even being checked by the stylist who did it? Funny idea of spoiling.

Not happy. The style i got was not what i asked for/described. Stylist not interested in talking or any type of engagement with me. its a big deal when trying out a new hair dresser and now I'm going to have to try another one.
