I visited the salon today the 27/7/18 to have my hair coloured which I’m really happy with, the only thing I was a bit disappointed with was that I was asked if I wanted my hair drying I asked if they could straighten it for me as I have wavy hair but they didn’t seem very happy about it. which last time I visited they just straightened my hair for me without me having to ask. I thought that would be included in the price of having a colour done.
I’ve been going to New Wave for a number of years and always feel like I’ve had a real treat when I’ve been there. The decor is very pleasant, the staff are always very friendly and professional and the atmosphere always very relaxed with pleasant music and refreshments. Heather always goes through a mini consultation to discuss my colour and cut and is always a pleasure to chat to. I’ve always come out of the salon very happy with my colour and cut. I think the level of training and expertise are well worth the money and the Thursday colour offers give excellent value. They also offer different levels of stylist to suit different budgets. I would recommend New Wave to anyone looking for a hairdressers in Wrexham.

My 12 year old daughter and I visited New Wave Hair Salon this evening on much overdue hair appointments. - seeing Hannah and Chloe G respectively.
Both ladies were very welcoming, put us at our ease and restyled our hair beautifully.
Also and of great importance to me is that my daughter has suffered with anxiety related alopecia. Hannah dealt with her sensitively and restyled her hair to accommodate the new hair growing through, giving her confidence a much needed boost. Thank you!

Staff very pleasant, helpful, knew what they were doing. Didn't make an issue of me being trans and made me feel welcome.
Jane was very attentive and nothing was too much trouble and I was being very picky as it was a trial for how I’m having my hair for my wedding day. The whole experience was brilliant and informative. I only but 3 stars for the value cos I thought it was a bite expensive but I didn’t shop around and don’t know how much it costs for trials normally.

I had such a great experience as always, Danni was very attentive & she obviously cares about getting the service right, she took so much time & asked me so many questions that it was clear she wanted it to be perfect for me, absolutely love the cut :) the only possible issue i would have to say is i think i had a bit too much product put on right at the end, but other than that Danni was great :)
