I had a very good experience today. Came to new wave having not had a hair cut for a long time! Hair had grown far too long for my fine hair. Was given great advice but my opinion was also listened to. Ended up with a great new do that is much better suited for my hair. Good value too. De-caf coffee and biscuits were a very nice touch ????
A lovely relaxed atmosphere. Shannon really listened to what I said, and helped me come to a decision. I felt at ease throughout. The end result was more than I could’ve hoped for. I’m really happy. Will definitely be visiting again

Loved my hair outcome. The stylist Dani was very friendly and professional. I couldn't have the colour I originally wanted, which I understood but she talked me through how I could achieve it with time. The salon was very clean and tidy, the woman who I believe was the manager was also very nice and professional.

Got appointment really quickly. Rachel absolutely lovely and professional, sorted out colours quickly n did exactly what I wanted. Chantelle who applied foils, lovely n efficient too. Only downside, approximately £20 more than what I usually pay at holben in Llangollen x

However I was dissapointed as a regular at New Wave for many years that some customers(that happened to be there at the end of December) received a voucher for 40%cut/colour for February.
Booked my colour for today as I was advised to book it for February as there was40% off only to discover that its only the people that had the voucher.
So ended up having only 15% off!
So please New Wave please look after your regulars.

I just want to post what is likely to be a long but worthwhile review so please bear with me.
Yesterday I walked into New Wave and was given THE best, holistic hair journey I’ve ever received, either by New Wave stylists before or anywhere else here or Europe. I say holistic because the experience was about so much more than getting my hair done.
When I walked in, my hair was an embarrassing shade of self inflicted orange and yellow.
Rachel and Ceris not only transformed my hair into a better version of itself, but they instinctively knew what would suit me and how to achieve this. But the real stand apart from the rest aspect that made the service exceptional was the compassion and sensitivity of Ceris. She listened, chatted, offered me refreshments and made me feel like I mattered. This is a true gift, and should never be underestimated. I walked into New Wave lacking in confidence and self belief, with hair that resembled a badly built nest. I walked out feeling that I can face the world, and with a true crowning glory.
We rarely have positive feedback in our lives, but I think this is required. Thank you for being far more than a hairdresser yesterday girls xx

Excellent service. I had my hair cut and had the keratinsmooth silk straigtning. Got exactly what I wanted especially as my hair was so frizzy and dry. The hairdresser was extremely informative of the products and was very friendly (think her name was Emma). All the staff was very kind and welcoming. Love this place love my hair will defo be coming back and recommending to a friend :D ?
I have been having my hair cut with Emma at Wrexham New Wave for many years. I cannot remember how many years, possibly over 10 years. I wouldn't trust my hair with anybody else. Emma knows my hair better than I do myself and I can always rely on her to cut my hair really well. I also now buy all my hair products from the salon including the oil, root boost and spray wax. I don't know what I would do if Emma ever left the salon. I followed Emma to Wild when she moved over there but I didn't like ether salon as much. I am glad that I am back at the salon in Charles Street.

Couldn’t of asked for better service by a lovely girl called Hannah. She was so polite and did a brilliant job with cutting, styling and dying my hair. She explained the whole process to me and always made sure I was comfortable and had a drink in front of me. Will deffinitely come again!
Followed Rachel here when she moved as part of the consolidation with Wild. I'm sure you can find cheaper hair cuts in Wrexham, and I'm only ever after a general trim and tidy up. But I can go in confident of a warm welcome, clean surroundings, a decent coffee, a friendly converation and great care taken with the actual hair, and will come out very happy with how it's been styled.

Just what I needed! I had always used New Wave before I got married which then led to me moving from area over 22 years ago. Staying in the area due to family bereavement I needed a perk-me-up!! My hair cut was it !! Great experience today, friend but professional and a lovely cut. Really pleased.
