Always nice to visit the salon and have my appointment with the lovely Hannah, who is always cheerful and remembers my preferences. All of the ladies at the salon are welcoming and even though covid restrictions make things awkward for the stylists with masks and gloves all day, they are as professional as ever.

I have been a regular customer at New Wave for many years. The service is always excellent, such a welcoming and friendly team. Emma has styled/coloured my hair for many years and has never let me down, I'm always pleased with the end result. I would highly recommend this salon.
Today was the first time I visited this salon and was so impressed. The girls are fabulous and so professional! My stylist was Rachel and she was amazing! I went in with hair that needed fixing and she did just that! I felt that she cared about my hair as much as I do! Great experience and definitely will be returning!

The last time I was at a hairdressers was back in 2019. Since then I did all sorts to my hair to a point where I thought it was so destroyed that there was no way repairing it. However thanks to Cerys my hair was saved without having to cut it super short. She did so amazingly that my hair feels like it did years ago before I started dyeing it. Big thanks to her for doing what I thought impossible and I can't wait for my next appointment!

Hannah is wonderful at styling and colour; it's so nice knowing I don't need to worry about how bleach going wrong. The colours they use are also very long lasting.

It’s the first time I’ve been to new wave, and after having short hair and then lockdown my hair had no shape and was full of roots and greys.
I went with Rachel in the salon and she was brilliant. I showed her pics of the colour I wanted and others of the cuts I like. She was great, the colour is spot on, I absolutely love it, and it’s completely different from my overdyed dark brown hair, it’s now a vibrant copper red and I’m so pleased I went with her.
She’s styled my hair really beautifully, I went for a short cut and I have very fine and very thick hair, which grows in all directions. Rachel listened to what I wanted and I couldn’t be happier with my finished cut.
Soon I will be moving a little bit further away from Wrexham but I will definitely keep coming to Rachel for my haircuts. She’s not too far away and I don’t want to compromise on such a great hairdresser!

I was not sure what to do with my long wavy fine hair. Dani was very helpfull and gave excellent advice on how to cut it and style to get the desired effect of full head of hair.
Hadn’t been to the salon for over a year, went yesterday looking dreadful and asking to be transformed. Danni certainly did that and I left feeling like a million dollars. Danni also spent time giving me excellent advice on hair care.

Chloe in new wave is a miracle worker. I went to the salon with blue in my hair, pink, yellow tones and 3 inch roots and Chloe was kind, talked me through each step and nothing was too much trouble. The root colour didn’t end up as dark as I would like and without hesitation she applied a darker colour and I felt so confident walking out of the salon, all thanks to Chloe!

It remains a fantastic hairdressers! Even with the safety measures it is still a excellent experience. All the staff are professional; always friendly and very discrete. The care and precision shown by Ann is amazing. My last hair cut was still in shape for nearly 4 months during lockdown. Couldn't ask for anymore!
The team at new wave are fantastic, all of the staff there make you feel so welcome from the moment you walk in, my hairdresser Danni is fantastic and always produces amazing results, she's always honest and upfront and will say if something is feasible but will always have suggestions on the best way to achieve the results you want! During Lockdown i'd been putting on box dyes making my hair dull & brittle. I had foils to brighten my hair with an excellent conditioning treatment. Hair looked and felt 100% healthier!
First time back after lockdown so quite nervous but there was no need to be. The stylists wore masks and visors. It felt very safe and relaxed. Dani did my hair as usual. She’s so professional and made me feel valued. She listened to exactly what I wanted and I left with my hair looking fabulous!
